A secluded cabin on the Bufalo National River with beautiful views and wildlife.
Manes Bluff Cabin is a two bedroom, one bathroom with gorgeous views of Point Peter Mountain and located only two miles from the Buffalo River by hiking trail.
Please be aware: Renters will need to bring their own bedding. This is how we keep our prices low and affordable for our customers. The cabin is secluded with beautiful views and is only 300 yards from the Dave Manes Bluff trail head on Buffalo River Trail. However with that seclusion comes 5 miles of dirt road to reach the cabin. Four wheel drive is not required to get there but we do recommend bringing a SUV or a truck.
Manes Bluff Cabin is on 33 acres of private land right next to the public land of the Buffalo National River. There is another option for lodging on the same property called Dewey's Cabin which also sleeps 6.
The cabins are perfect for horseback riders, hikers, hunters, or anyone looking for a scenic stay away from town. The cabin is 4.6 miles from Snowball. It is about 3 miles by county road from the river itself at the beautiful Margaret White swimming hole. By hiking trail this swimming hole is about 2 miles away.
This place is wonderful for anyone interested in history as the late owner Dewey Dills spent time making moonshine in the school bus hidden (buried) behind Dewey's Cabin. It is still there today.
Point Peter Mountain is visible off the front porch and the property is marked by a beautiful old barn built in 1938.
Whether you loving hunting, hiking, fishing, floating the river, or just observing wildlife, this place has it all. 33 acres surrounded by parkland.
