We are disappointed to read this review, especially since no concerns were communicated to us during the stay despite the guest messaging us multiple times both before arrival and daily after departure. We even contacted the guest during their stay to see how everything was asked if they needed anything and received no response. Had we been made aware of any issues during the stay, we would have gladly addressed them immediately, as guest satisfaction is extremely important to us. A few points in this review are also misleading. We do not advertise a gas grill anywhere in our listing — the property is equipped with a charcoal grill, which is clearly stated in the listing details. Additionally, our house rules explain that trash pickup requires guests to place the trash outside by 10am and contact the number provided so our team knows it is ready for pickup. No communication regarding trash pickup was ever sent. This is a budget-friendly mountain cabin rental, not a luxury resort, and we work very hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and accurately represented experience at a fair price point. The overwhelming majority of our guests leave very positive reviews and appreciate the value, location, and mountain atmosphere the cabin offers. It is also unfortunate that prior to leaving this review, the guest indicated they would wait to review the property depending on whether compensation was offered. We always encourage honest, fair feedback, but reviews should reflect the actual stay experience rather than be tied to refund expectations. We appreciate all feedback that helps us improve, but we also believe future guests should have the full context when reading reviews.
