Tucked beside granite giants and a whispering seasonal creek, Boulder Creek Retreat is a rustic‑modern bungalow that feels like a secret hideaway with creature comforts and playful surprises. Warm finishes, clean modern lines, and thoughtful lighting create a cozy, stylish interior that invites you to slow down, explore, and linger.
Step into an open living area where natural textures meet contemporary comfort. The living room flows to a well‑appointed kitchen and dining nook—perfect for slow breakfasts before a day of hiking.
Two bedrooms sit on opposite sides of the main living space so each couple enjoys true privacy; both bedrooms feature brand new luxury beds, quality linens, and easy access to a full bath (one en‑suite, one hall bath).
An extra room with a bay window is a quiet retreat for playing games, reading, napping, or daydreaming.
For evenings of friendly competition, gather around the pool table—a centerpiece for laughter and low‑stakes tournaments.
When the weather calls for fresh air, step outside to roam the private grounds or settle in as stars emerge. The outdoor space includes a barbecue and plenty of room to wander, with string lights and natural rock formations setting a magical tone after dusk. Listen to frogs singing their serenades. Wildlife sightings are also common—deer, songbirds, and the occasional fox remind you that this is a place where nature is your neighbor.
(Outdoor fires are allowed from Nov1st-Apr30th)
Practical comforts are built in so you can relax without fuss: a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV for cozy movie nights, washer/dryer, and parking on the property.
The home sleeps 4 comfortably and is designed for couples, friends traveling together, small families, business travelers who want to decompress in nature, and anyone who values privacy and outdoor access.

Other Things to Note:
🏔️ Yosemite and Getting Here
Park Entry: No reservations are needed for Yosemite in 2026! Just check the official park website before heading out for any sudden road closures. We can’t control park closures or weather.
Arrival: The house is down a gravel road and has private parking for up to 4 cars. You'll need to climb a few steps to get to the front door.
🪵 Amenities and Utilities
Firepit: Ready for starlit nights from November to April. It's closed from May to November due to fire season safety rules.
Water: The water is safe to drink.
Wi-Fi and Power: Mountain tech can sometimes blink during storms. If one room loses power, just reset the wall GFI outlet. For full outages, give us a shout.
🚫 House Rules
Septic System: We’re on a delicate mountain septic. Only flush regular toilet paper. Absolutely no wipes (even "flushable" ones), paper towels, or feminine products.
No Parties and No Smoking: Please treat our place like a home, not a hotel. No parties or events, and please respect our neighbors. Smoking is strictly banned.
Fixes: No one lives on-site 24/7. We’ll always do our best to help if something breaks, but remote mountain mechanics can take time to arrive!
🐾 Furry Friends
The Rules: We love well behaved, potty trained pups, up to 2 and under 25 lbs! Just let us know when booking (a per pet fee applies) and bring your own pet supplies.
Inside and Outside: Keep fur babies off furniture (or use our sofa covers) and crate them if left alone. The yard isn't fenced, so if you have a runner, keep a close eye on them.
Fees: Please clean up all poop. Extra fees may apply for any stains, damage, or extra cleanup.
🐍 Nature and Safety
Critters: We are surrounded by beautiful wilderness. You might spot bugs, frogs, squirrels, spiders, or snakes. Keep doors and windows shut tight so they don't wander inside!
Hazards: Rocks, boulders, and the creek get super slippery. Climb at your own risk. Please never leave kids or pets unattended outside.
