The Space:

This pretty as a postcard waterfront home on Dauphin Island offers all the room you need to spread out while still enjoying together time. The best place to bookend the day is the large deck, which offers rocking chairs for morning coffee, and four barstools plus a bar with a view for evening sundowners. With several tables perfect for alfresco dining and a gas grill, you’ll probably spend most of your time outside, but inside is just as welcoming.



The open floor plan means the cooks won’t feel left out while they’re whipping up tasty treats in the well-equipped, full kitchen. There are four barstools at the kitchen island, and room for eight more at the adjacent dining table when it’s time to eat.



When it’s time to unwind after a day of exploring, the living room offers comfy couches and chaises you’ll fight over, and a flatscreen TV for all your entertainment needs. Bedtime means your choice of four comfortable rooms, the main suite with a king and three with queens, but the kids are going to love the loft, with four matching twin beds lined up in a row. Before bed, step back out onto the deck and slide onto one of those barstools to toast your good luck at finding this perfect island getaway – all you need now is a butler to bring you a drink.

Great beach house

Lots of space and amenities. Beach front, plenty of parking, beds, bathrooms. Great deck and living room. Clean. Only complaints were about mattresses being old and not comfortable.

Check in was easy, kitchen was nice and well stocked. Would have thought more trash bags and paper towels would have been provided. WiFi was terrible but that was only an issue at the end of the day during wind down time. Protruding nail heads on the deck need to be addressed.

The location was amazing!! It was just a short walk to the Bayside and you could walk to the Gulf of Mexico side very easily. But the house needs a lot of TLC. Other than the master bed, the mattresses were terrible. The furniture also needs updating. There was no toaster (as listed in amenities), but Vacasa brought one the second day. However, there was a broken fan in one of the bathrooms that never got fixed, and we lacked potholders and any dish towels. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time on Dauphin Island. Especially loved Pirate pizza, the little aquarium, and the bird nature sanctuary.

This was a great home for a family with a variety of ages. A good amount of space very brief walk to the golf side and an access to the Bayside from the back of the house. Very responsive managers.

Just perfect!

We had our whole family with us - 10 month old thru 91 years. It qas absolutely perfect for us- each family had a bedroom, three baths, and the kidsloved the loft with the TV. Beautiful Home and Great Location

We have been coming to the island for many years, this was our first time staying in this house and it might be our favorite! The location is convenient to both the bay and the gulf (public access is just across the street). The house itself is beautiful and has a great layout, we had 7 adults and 3 teenagers. Hosts are great (there were issues with the internet, they messaged us before we got there and diligently tried to fix it. When it couldn't be fixed while we were there they offered to refund part of our stay.) and quick to respond to any questions. The only recommendation if you stay here is to bring your own bowls (mixing and storage) as we only found 1 in the cabinets.

Perfect spot for the whole family

We have two grown children, and five grandchildren under the age of nine. This was the perfect place for all three families. The house was spacious, four beautiful bedrooms, three full baths, right on the beach, and though our beach was small, because it was the Bayside, just a walk across the street and we had access to a beautiful and spacious beach area. Great place for the whole family! The property manager was excellent! The house was spotless, and we could not have been happier.

Weekend Getaway!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! The house lived up to the amazing pictures on Vrbo. Large open floor plan was fabulous. Comfortable bedding and space in each bedroom. House was the same as pictured on theVrbo listing. It did not disappoint. I thought the coffee pot was broken, but found the missing piece in the bottom of the dishwasher. ;-) The house was amazing and we were pleased to see all the wheel chair accessibility. Beach Vacay

10 of us stayed at this great house and it delivered as advertised. There were no issues with check in and while the fire alarm was chirping, they responded very quickly and it was resolved. The pics of this house show exactly what you are renting and this made for a wonderful vacation. The amenities of washer and dryer came in so handy and the outdoor spaces were awesome. We chose not to cook as we were there only four nights. But if you do, take everything you need. No downsides to this place in our opinion.

Great for a large family

We stayed at this home with our entire family. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, and four kids under six. It was a perfect house for us! An easy stroll to the beach where on the bay side it is much calmer than the gulf side and easy for the kids to play without getting swept under by the waves. Very secluded and private. House came stocked with beach toys, floaties, and beach chairs. There was even a small playground under the house. House was very clean. We loved the location, far enough off the beaten path but close enough to the restaurants and shops on the island. Definitely would recommend!

Family Vacation

We stayed at the property in late April. We had an infant, toddler, 2 teenagers, and 6 adults. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was as expected. It was a short walk down to the bay and it was nice having sand right under the house for the kids to play in. The weather was a little chilly, but otherwise it would have been the perfect outdoor space for hanging out and playing. Only downsides are the sandy area has a lot of prickers (so wear beach shoes) and the island didn't have a whole lot going on. Most restaurants were open on limited days and times.
