Gut: Check-in und Lage
Our stay was made quite difficult because the air conditioner did not work properly. The thermostat stayed consistent at around 75 the entire time, day and night. We tried to use the 3 box fans that were provided, however, only 1 of them worked. So we were uncomfortably hot the entire stay. The condo was advertised to sleep 12 people. Our party had 10. There were sofa beds to accommodate us, however, there was not bedding for the sofa sleepers, so the first night we had to use beach towels as sheets/blankets. When we called the next day, they did provide adequate bedding so that was appreciated. The kitchen did not accommodate the number of people in our party. There was only 1 dish towel. There were only about 8 forks and 3 coffee cups. There were no hot pads or trivets for getting things out of the oven. There was only 1 “sharp” knife, that was not sharp at all.The door did not lock. Even after someone came to repair it, it never locked. We spent the entire stay with the door unlocked. Thankfully, to our knowledge, we did not experience any theft while we were away from the condo. I would suggest that since there are only 2 bathrooms, that there be more mirrors throughout the condo, especially in the bedrooms. It was quite difficult that there were no other places that women could do hair/makeup besides the bathroom.This place has great potential. The location is fantastic and the second floor is very convenient. Despite the challenges, we had a good trip.
