We’re disappointed that this guest chose to leave a 3-star review, particularly because several of the concerns mentioned were not listed amenities or were minor issues that could have been resolved immediately had we been notified during the stay. For example, we would have gladly replaced the couple of missing plates had we known about them. We also went out of our way to provide an iron and ironing board as a courtesy, even though these items are not included among the listed amenities. The gutter cleaning was routine maintenance following a storm and did not interfere with the guest’s stay, and the picnic table was temporarily unavailable while freshly painted. The paint dried in less than an hour. We are a small business and take great pride in maintaining our property and providing a clean, comfortable experience for our guests. We have consistently received wonderful feedback from our guests, so we wish this guest had communicated these concerns with us during the stay, as we would have done everything reasonably possible to address them. We appreciate all of our guests and take every review seriously, while also recognizing that occasional reviews may not reflect the experience of the vast majority of our visitors.
