Über den Gastgeber

Bild für Gastgeberprofil
We are both originally from New Jersey but have been residing in Pennsylvania for the past 15 years. We have always loved being out in nature, whether it's swimming in the ocean, hiking, or gardening in our backyard. Our interests have turned to real estate over the past few years and we have really enjoyed being hosts so far.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The River Owl Cabin sits near a cute little town with everything you could possibly need, but far enough away, that you feel like you are way out in nature. The cabin is accessible by a state road only a few miles from the New York state boarder. PA State boat lunch is a 4 minute drive down the road. The cabin is across the road from the Susquehanna River. The town of Susquehanna Depot is very convenient to pick up anything you may have forgotten to bring during your stay (supermarket, gas station, multiple local restaurants, Dollar General, Ice Cream shop, quaint coffee shop, bakery, a micro brewery, liquor and beer store).

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The River Owl Cabin is a great little place to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Put your feet up by the fire and sip a cup of coffee. We have mature trees surrounding the cabin that make it feel private and secluded from the neighbors. In the surrounding woods nature abounds where is it home to a variety of wild animals, birds, amphibians, and insects. If you are lucky, at night you will hear the call of one of the local barred owls, bull frogs, gray tree frogs, red foxes, or much more. In the warm months you can enjoy bird watching or hear the slap of a beavers tail on the river across the road. We also provide two fire pit options with a traditional wood fire pit or an easy to use propane fire pit. Chairs are provided to relax in. Create memories or just kick back and relax in nature with a good book at our cabin.
