The space
This sprawling 1915 Early American Farmhouse has been meticulously crafted to deliver a distinctive and unparalleled five-star experience. All "A Step Back Inn" properties are re-imagined as a unique yet cozy elegant experience for our guests through a blend of modern unexpected conveniences and vintage charm, paying homage to the bygone era through carefully curated furnishings, décor and amenities. This property will comfortably accommodate 12 guests, and features a breathtaking chef's kitchen, large, connected family and dining rooms, game/media room, four fashionably appointed bedrooms plus a cozy and fun hideaway bunkie room with four built-in twin XL beds, suitable for kids OR adults!
All bedrooms feature sumptuous high-end linens, plus three full bathrooms with all-natural bath products. Heated tile floors in all bathrooms add an additional touch of luxury and comfort. Each bedroom has its own independent and fully adjustable HVAC control to personalize the climate of each space.
This property is also the first vacation home in the area with the first floor purposefully designed to be "wheelchair friendly" including a ramp to the front porch, three-foot wide main floor doors, and a main bedroom ensuite with a zero-threshold roll-in shower and roll-under vanity.
Smart Roku TVs throughout all bedrooms, main living room and game room will keep you connected and entertained. Dramatic ambient lighting and integrated USB outlets add an unexpected yet delightful touch of convenience.
A highlight of the property is the upstairs fun and cozy "Hideaway Bunkie" room with four custom built-in twin XL beds and a spectacular starry night-sky feature. Children OR adults will appreciate the ambience of this memorable space!

We are excited to announce that the same host can now accommodate even larger families or groups, when combined with our other two historic renovated homes under the trusted "A Step Back Inn" brand. The first house is just one house away, and the other is across the street.
The other two properties each sleeps 8 guests, for a grand total of 28 between three nearly adjacent homes!
