Bare bones,nothing special in this place,no extras not a welcome feel host was horrible communicator if u just need a place to stay thus is it for long stay & meal prep be prepared to purchase everything u need & more. Only provided 1 roll of TP for 10 day stay 1 roll cheapest paper towel best part located on 2floor so u do not have to wait for the service elevator when carrying ur beach chairs & suitcases not enough seating in TV area or balcony ice machine broken location great right on the beach

Great value! Loved the location!

this was exactly what we were looking for. Condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed a quiet ocean front that wasn’t overly accessible to the public and the kids loved the pool. Bonus to have laundry in the building and we were able to easily do a couple day trips and find plenty of restaurants around also! Highly recommend! We have three kids and grandma cane along and for us it was plenty of room....

Spring Break

We enjoyed our stay. The check in process is not very good. Be prepared to wait in a very long line for a very long time. This needs to be resolved. The condo was very clean and pretty well stocked except there were only two wash cloths. Make sure to bring some or buy some. I do feel like communication was lacking with owner/and or manager from the beginning. They did not provide much information about the condo and instructions. Overall, we enjoyed our time and just wish we were given more information about the condo, such as wearing bracelets, key fobs, laundry card and loading money, parking, and check in process. We had a great time and loved the location and condo!

Not great, not horrible - you get what you pay for

I personally would not go back but I like to provide the facts, rather than my opinion so others can make an informed choice. Like a lot of people, we rented this place because it was one of the few places that will allow you to rent for a short stay and it was very reasonably priced. The condo unit itself was very clean but as bare bones basic as you could get. There is one couch in the large living space. That's it. There is a small 2 seater table in the kitchen and a 8 seater table in the dining area but the overall feel of the place is sparse, cold and uninviting. The kitchen and washrooms are very, very dated and could use a facelift. Peeling linoleum kitchen counters, paint peeling everywhere. But, still, clean. The kitchen was also not very well equipped with no soap for the dishwasher and a mixed smattering of plates, glasses, bowls, etc. No wine glasses - although there were 2 corkscrews. The bathrooms had whatever toilet paper was on the roll and that's it. For a shorterm rental, I would expect these things to be there. You can't expect every guest staying a few nights to buy dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, etc. For long term rentals, that's acceptable, of course. The bedrooms each had a walk in closet with plenty of hanger but the rooms were very, very dark. No overhead lighting and only a small lamp. The window in the room with the one bed opened to a thick covering of trees so natural light was not available at all. The other bedroom had natural light - but no overhead light either. Only one dresser in one bedroom. Nothing in the second bedroom with the two beds. The common areas were very old and dirty looking - with the exception of the pool which is very well kept and inviting. Hallway carpets were stained and curling up from the walls, etc. And the beach was filled with seaweed and not well maintained. There was ample parking and the location is very central with a Starbuck, grocery stores and Walmart all within walking distance.

great location but communication struggle

This apartment is all about location, which is not a bad thing. The pool is nice and the beach access is easy. The cafe downstairs is a major bonus — coffee was so good. The building’s staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly and they made our check-in and check-out process as smooth as possible by giving us plenty of information and managing expectations about how long lines would be to check out, etc. The condo itself is bare boned and a bit soulless but clean enough and enough toilet paper and paper towels to get you to a grocery run. We had one sheet pan to heat/cook things on and it was still covered in grease from the last person’s stay. Check in was a struggle because of communication with the person I believe was the owner although I’m still unsure. The lister on VRBO is someone named Maria and a few days before we were supposed to arrive, I received a very scam-type looking text message from someone named Angelica claiming to want to know information about our stay. VRBO warns to only message over their app and this was not in the app, and the host claimed a different name than our lister, so I questioned how they got the number and who they were because the host listed on our booking was Maria. I never got a response from the number and assumed I was right about it being a scam. A day before check in, I began messaging Maria on the VRBO app, asking for information about checking in and updating the host with our arrival. I never got a response on the app, so when we arrived to check in, I explained what was going on to the person working behind the desk. She helped me immensely and suddenly I received information from the scam text message number with another message that said “next time, message me back”. I replied that I had messaged her back but gotten no response. After that, we went up to use the door code she had given me and struggled to punch in the numbers because the numbers on the door buttons were worn off. I tried to call her and text her to get some insight on how to work the door and received no answer and no response. She still hasn’t responded. I also had to manage to do all of this with a six month old who had been in the car all day. The location was great, the building staff was very (VERY) helpful and the communication with whoever is in charge of the listing was horrible. I’m glad nothing major went wrong but it’s a comfort knowing the building’s staff would have been there to help.

Nice place

Great room sizes and kitchen. Ease of access to beach was great. Difficult check in and getting fobs but other than that no issues. Would recommend to others. Would have been nice to have soaps and such in the bathrooms but not a dealbreaker.

Spring Break

I usually never leave reviews but felt I needed to. The check in process is a nightmare!!! The condo was clean but we felt as if we were in a jail cell. Absolutely bare bones. 2 wash clothes, nothing on the walls, one very small couch for a condo that sleeps 7. It did have beach chairs and umbrella that helped a ton. The location is great in regards to the beach. Overall… I’d book the Tides again but not this condo. We saw several different ones while we were there and ours seemed so bare and cold. The communication with the owner/property manager scared me …. I reached out several times and heard nothing until I called her. This condo could be soooo much more if the owners put a little more money into it.

Decent location however property is old and needs renovation. Though a short stay check in was a nightmare. Issues with suite in lights not all working and toaster issues. We enjoyed the location and short walk to beach.

The view was awesome.

The process of renting the property was excellent. Trying to drop off parking pass was a nightmare. Extremely long long lines, people arguing and very upset. We finally just slid it through the window and told them to keep the deposit. We could not miss our flight.

Great condo

We really liked the condo and how spacious it was for the price. Manager was great!! Loved all of the chairs and umbrella for the beach!! Thank you. This condo and building are pretty old but it was clean and spacious. Building...Did not like wearing masks the whole time. Mask mandates over!!! All of the extra fees for this building are crazy. Pool was nice, but closes at 7:30. Office to pay all of the extra fees always busy with one person working. All of the employees seem like they hate their job. I would try to be friendly and kind and still very rude short responses.

Short walk to the beach. 2 large rooms. 1.5 baths. Very large living room and kitchen. Dining room table seats 7. Towels, beach chairs, umbrella. Fully furnished kitchen. Coffee maker, blender, oven, microwave. Cups, plates, glasses , silverware. Bring food. AC very cold. Was there some slight blemishes? Yes, but nothing to ruin the experience. Angelica was very nice. And building staff friendly. I would recommend. There is a daily parking fee which you pay up front for all the days you will be there. Think its somewhere 10ish a day. I really cant remember.

AWESOME ! Great Location for Family! Angelica es un amor!

Angelica Paz is fantastic! She was very attentive and meet us to go thru the entire check in process. She walked us to check in our cars and to get our wrist bands. The security is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was perfect for my family. We had plenty of room and all the comforts we needed for our stay. We spent most of the time enjoying the beach that is right after the pool. The pool was great and plenty of chase lounges and umbrellas. Very clean and quiet! very relaxing. The balcony is tucked right in the corner facing the pool and has a wonderful breeze! The building also has a great little market/café. They have all the convenience items you need from Milk to Ice-cream and Sun Screen and Espresso Coffee!!!! Publix and Wal-Mart are very close and easy to get to as well, if you want to do some grocery shopping. Plenty of restaurants to go to as well. We loved everything about this Vacation Rental and will be returning for future trips.

Wonderful stay!

The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. I have a 1.5 yr old and one of the rooms ended up having a closet that could fit the pack and play which was especially great. I loved the amenities - pool and beach access, etc. Our hosts Angelica and her husband were very attentive and helpful in getting us settled in the room.

Good Condo

I recommend This Condo It was Clean, spacious, it had all the necessities.. Good for Kids, I love the way they do the payment transaction!! The only thing we really didn't like was that the condo had like a weird smell like fish, maybe the guest before us was cooking fish, And the other thing was that the beach was not clean, All full of see weeds a lot of see weeds..

Very Nice for Kids

I was coming to Hollywood for a conference at the Diplomat, but bringing the family along so they could hang out on the beach. This property was a good choice for us because everything in the condo is wipe-able (except for the bed linens and bathroom rugs). We didn't have to worry so much about my daughter messing anything up. This aspect does make the condo feel a bit cavernous but it wasn't a detractor for us. Being on the second floor was convenient and it was an easy 2 minute walk to the conference center. As for the larger facilities, the condo has beach service which was very nice in theory, but we found that the person responsible for putting out the chairs was rarely present. We did enjoy the pool area. Angelica was responsive and easy to work with.

Great condo!

This condo was the perfect place for our long weekend in Hollywood Beach! The unit was comfortable, clean and perfectly located- easy access to the pool , beach, food and shopping. We easily drove to Everglades National park for a day trip . The condo management was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to book this with Angelica for next year!
