Welcome to Legacy Farm Retreat, a stay rooted in history & nature with quiet countryside charm. This special home built in 1993 sits alongside a working family farm that has been lovingly passed down through five generations. Rolling hills stretch out around you, and it’s not uncommon to spot cows, farm dogs, or ducks and geese wandering the nearby grounds. Once a tobacco farm, this land tells a rich story, while the home has recently been thoughtfully updated by the family who still lives nearby.



The Space:

Begin your stay outdoors, where the calm of the countryside truly shines. Sip your morning coffee on the front porch or retreat to the wooded back deck, furnished with comfortable patio seating and surrounded by trees and birdsong. It’s a peaceful place to unwind in the evenings, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the slower pace of farm life.



Inside, the home is built into a hillside, placing the main living space upstairs and creating a cozy, elevated retreat. An open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area greets you at the top of the steps, filled with natural light and designed for gathering. The bright, airy kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a Keurig for easy mornings, and counter seating for four. Right beside it, a dining table for six keeps everyone connected, whether you’re sharing meals, playing games, or planning the next day’s adventures. The home offers two inviting living rooms, each with a smart TV, large couches, and armchairs—perfect for spreading out, relaxing, or enjoying movie nights together. When it’s time for fun, head to the garage game room where ping pong and foosball promise friendly competition and laughter.



Peaceful and private, Legacy Farm Retreat is ideally located between the iconic Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, and just a short drive from a charming small river town, local shops, restaurants, and nearby hiking and walking trails. This home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience a meaningful slice of Kentucky heritage while enjoying modern comfort and thoughtful updates.



This home comfortably sleeps 10 guests between 4 private bedrooms.



Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, a smart TV, and deck access.



Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed.



Bedroom #3 includes a queen size bed.



Bedroom #4 includes a set of twin-over-full bunk beds and a twin size bed.



This home also includes 2 full guest bathrooms, one with a dual vanity and a walk-in shower, another with a single vanity and a shower/tub combo.



THINGS TO NOTE

• Washer and dryer in home.

• Driveway parking for 4 vehicles available.

• This home is equipped with two (2) external security cameras: (1) located at the front porch and actively monitoring the walkway into the home as well as a partial view of the driveway, and (2) located at the back porch and monitoring a partial view of the back yard and the porch.

• For your safety, please do not touch or cross the livestock fences they are electrified.

• High chair and portable crib available.

• Long-term stays allowed.
