As the name so aptly implies, Big Jim Mountain Lodge features a stunning view of Big Jim Mountain, named after the famed first American to summit Mt. Everest in 1963, Jim Whittaker. Big Jim lies on the southeastern extreme of the Chiwaukum Mountains, a subrange within Washington's Cascade Range. With their often-reddish rock and tundra upper slopes, these mountains resemble Colorado's mountains more than what is typically thought of as the Washington Cascades. Just imagine the backdrop!

It is the ideal place for sports and recreation getaway.



With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, Big Jim Mountain Lodge sleeps up to 6 comfortably. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room, as well as a primary bedroom with a king bed and ensuite master bath. In addition, there is a laundry area and a second bathroom with a tub. There is an American Leather Sleeper Sofa in the living room as well.



The second floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen, and the second with a two-queen bunkbed.



The beautifully designed outdoor yard features a very attractive seating area, along with a newly installed outdoor hot tub with mountain views, and a lush and lovely fresh new lawn. Close to the ski pass and the lake for great summer and winter sports, fishing, and hiking, this is an ideal location for those who like to snowmobile on the trails near Lake Wenatchee State Park.
