Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take our guests’ comfort and experience seriously and strive to provide a well-maintained home with clear communication throughout every stay. We are concerned by the comment regarding the shower, as it is functional, and no issue was reported to us during the guest’s stay. We provide guests with direct communication should any maintenance concerns or other needs arise, and we would have welcomed the opportunity to investigate and address the matter promptly had we been notified. Our listing does not advertise an on-site washer or dryer, and our house guidelines regarding unplugging certain appliances when leaving are provided for guests in advance. We make every effort to communicate our property’s amenities and expectations clearly so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Regarding the neighborhood, the property’s location is disclosed in the listing. While we cannot control activity or noise originating outside the home, the property is situated away from the busier downtown environment. We regret that the guest’s experience did not fully meet their expectations. We remain committed to maintaining our home, responding to guest concerns, and providing a comfortable stay. We encourage guests to communicate any issues during their visit so we have a fair opportunity to resolve them in real time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that you found the home clean, spacious, comfortable, and that our communication was responsive throughout your stay. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The home is an older property with a great deal of character and charm, and while it is thoroughly cleaned and maintained, older homes can sometimes have a characteristic odor that some guests may notice more than others. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The listing does not advertise a washer and dryer, and we were happy to provide the location of the nearest laundromat when you needed that service. The home is also listed to accommodate up to seven guests, based on the sleeping arrangements and photographs provided in the listing. Regarding the toilet paper and paper towels, we’re sorry these supplies were an inconvenience. We are always happy to provide additional supplies when needed, and our maintenance support was available during your stay. Since you mentioned that we were very responsive whenever you reached out, we certainly would have been glad to bring additional supplies had we been contacted. We appreciate your positive comments about the cleanliness, space, and communication, and we hope the clarification above is helpful to future guests considering the home.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am currently at a new location, brand new paint and flooring, and beautiful mahogany hardwood flooring. My new home includes a small work out area. Table setting for groups of 12, more like a hotel inspired look. I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I take every guest’s concerns seriously, which is why I was surprised by some of the comments in this review. The property is accurately represented in the listing, and I make every effort to provide a clean, comfortable, and secure home for my guests. I also respond to guest communications as promptly as possible, and I regret if you felt my response time was not adequate during your stay. I’m glad you found the beds comfortable and the linens fresh. I appreciate your positive comments and will continue working to provide every guest with a clean and welcoming experience.
