Escape to nearly 9 serene acres at this beautifully restored 1910 farmhouse with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a stunning 1850s barn. Thoughtfully updated, the home offers space to relax, gather, and unwind—inside and out. Enjoy coffee on the wraparound porch, sunsets on the deck, and peaceful nights under the stars. Just minutes from Mansfield and only an hour from both Columbus and Cleveland, but feels like a world away. Perfect for families, celebrations, or a quiet getaway.
The space
The centerpiece of the property is a thoughtfully restored 1910 American Foursquare farmhouse, spread across four finished floors. It blends timeless charm with modern comfort, creating a space that feels both welcoming and reliable.
Inside, you’ll find:
• 3 spacious bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms
• Comfortable living and dining spaces made for slow meals and good conversation
• A wraparound porch, ideal for morning coffee
• A peaceful back deck overlooking the countryside
• A primary suite with a walk-in closet, spa-style bathroom, and private screened balcony
Also included is a beautifully preserved 1850s bank barn—an incredible feature of the property. It’s where people naturally gather for meals, celebrations, creative sessions, or quiet moments. The barn is separate from the house, so you have both space to come together and space to retreat.
Outside, the land invites you to explore nearly 9 acres of calm, open space. Enjoy a swim in the large above ground pool, fish in the stocked spring-fed pond fed by a historic spring house, and there's even a smokehouse original to the property—all reminders that this land has been cared for through generations.
Guest access
Guests have full access to:
• The main farmhouse (3BR / 2.5BA)
• The historic bank barn
• The wraparound porch, deck, and outdoor seating areas
• The entire surrounding 9-acre property
• The stocked spring-fed pond, spring house, and smokehouse
Please note: The separate 1-bedroom guest house on the property is not included in your stay and is fully independent of the main house. Also, the Owners / Hosts live onsite (in the basement of the main farm house) and are accessible and available during your stay, but do not come upstairs while guests are present except for emergencies or when invited by guests.
Other things to note
• The home has been updated with modern HVAC, new windows, refreshed interiors, electrical upgrades, and durable metal roofing for comfort and peace of mind.
• While you’ll feel totally tucked away, you’re just minutes from Mansfield’s restaurants and shops, with quick access to Routes 30 and 71.
• Columbus, Polaris and even Cleveland are easy day trips—though most guests find they don’t want to leave once they arrive.
