Arrival is calm and assured. Manicured lawns, perennial gardens, and established rose bushes frame an oversized southern-style porch that quickly becomes the heart of the home. Mornings begin with coffee and coastal light; afternoons drift into lawn games and reading; evenings gather everyone together as the day slows.

Built by one of the original Lands End builders, the home is filled with custom architectural details—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely distinct from typical coastal rentals. Generous gathering spaces invite everyone together, while quiet corners and well-separated bedrooms ensure privacy, making multigenerational stays feel effortless rather than crowded.

The grounds feel intentionally secluded. A broad private lawn opens outward, while a wooded perimeter wraps the property in quiet—creating a sense of calm rarely found this close to the harbor. Evenings extend naturally around a smokeless fire pit with Adirondack chairs, where conversation carries easily into the night.

A short walk along Land’s End trails brings you to resident water access, a calm launching point into Porpoise Cove and Cape Porpoise Harbor. Explore nearby islands, tidal pools filled with crabs and sea snails, and working harbor waters watched over by historic Goat Island Light.

Back at the house, unwind in the private hot tub after a day on the water or beach. A whole-home generator provides year-round peace of mind. A three-bay garage simplifies arrivals and gear, and a Maine-crafted cedar swing set is thoughtfully placed on the lawn.

A brief walk brings you to Cape Porpoise’s café, market, library, and shops; Dock Square is an easy bike ride for Kennebunkport dining, galleries, and harbor walks. Nearby are Goose Rocks, Colony, Middle, and Mother’s Beaches, as well as the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
