We read that we needed to be quiet after 10pm which wasn’t a problem but the neighbors were screaming way beyond 10! Didn’t get much sleep because if you slept on the beds, it was exactly like sleeping on the floor the mattresses were that hard. The second night we put the air mattress on top of the beds, it wasnt much better. The place was very clean and had everything we needed

We loved this little house. It is well taken care of and close to a lot of things in Springfield. It was easy to get to also. We had excellent communication with the owner with a quick response. Some of the neighbors were a little loud but that's not the owners fault. We did appreciate that we could use the garage though.

Neither the living room TV nor one bedroom TV worked. Coffee pot available, but no coffee or even filters provided. Description of property indicated no pets, which we need because of allergies, but we found out when we arrived that pets were allowed with a deposit, and we saw pet hair. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback—we really do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I do want to clarify a few things for future guests reading this. All 3 TVs are fully functional and operate through WiFi-based streaming apps (such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.), which is how the property is set up rather than traditional cable. Regarding pets, the listing does state that pets may be allowed on a case-by-case basis with approval and a fee. We understand allergies are a concern, and we take cleanliness seriously, but we’ll continue working to improve communication and ensure expectations are as clear as possible. As for coffee supplies, we currently provide the equipment but not consumables; however, we appreciate the suggestion and are already working on adding more guest-friendly items like coffee, filters, and basic kitchen essentials moving forward. We’re glad to hear you found the home clean and comfortable overall, and we’ll continue making improvements to enhance the guest experience. Best regards

The host was very accommodating and willing to help in anyway but we did have some issues with the number of people that the house would sleep. A previous client had broken the layout sofa chairs which cut down the sleeping spots to 5. Double check that they have been fixed prior to arriving.

Thank you for your review and for your kind words about our hospitality. We're glad we could be accommodating throughout your stay. We would like to clarify one point for future guests. The reclining sections of the couches are not intended or advertised as sleeping accommodations. Our listing clearly states that the home sleeps additional guests with an air mattress, not by using the couches as beds. While a previous guest did damage the reclining mechanisms, we intentionally leave them locked in the upright position to help prevent future damage, avoid contact with the wall, and because the replacement parts require special-order components. This does not reduce the advertised sleeping capacity, as the couches were never included as designated sleeping spaces. We appreciate your feedback and are always committed to making sure our listing accurately reflects the accommodations we provide.

The house is cute, but older property. The kitchen had the bare minimum of items. One small, well used frypan, no baking dishes or cookie sheet. No basic salt/pepper Very basic cutlery, and the cleaning crew didn’t replenish the dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, hand soap in bathrooms. There were no bath rugs in half bath. No toilet bowl cleaner. TV in living room worked great! One very firm mattress and one medium. Nice to have garage to park in but a remote would have been nicer to use due to adverse weather conditions in June. Whenever I contacted Justin, he answered very quickly and brought over a care package with shampoo/conditioner/ liquid soap and dishwashing tabs, salt/pepper, coffee. Compared to other VRBO properties we’ve used, it was average.
