Bear Cabin - 1.5 Miles from Town, Along Seasonal Creek & Beneath Trees!

Welcome to our Bear Cabin - a carefully crafted 1 bed/1 bath cabin hidden beneath the native trees of Idyllwild. This newly remodeled cabin is paired with a deck overlooking one of the Town's seasonal creeks - where Stellar's Jays love to rinse off. A truly unique getaway, explained beautifully as rustic cabin meets modern. Close enough to town to walk, but removed enough to enjoy the true mountain experience. Enjoy!

There are other cabins on this property but the only shared areas are the parking and driveway. The deck of this cabin faces the trees.

This cabin is centrally located - only .8 miles from Town!

There is free parking on the Premises. There is a specific area to park, please let us know if you are planning on bringing more than one car and we will try to accommodate you.

Check in: You will have access to the "Arrival Guide" on the VRBO app about 24-48 hours before your check in. Then, we will message you the lockbox code the day of your check in through our message thread.

Please read before booking:

- PETS: Only dogs allowed, no cats or other animals. We have a max of 2 dogs allowed. Please make sure to select 1-2 PETS at booking to ensure the pet fee is included. Dogs must be paid for at reservation time. If there is an unauthorized dog during the stay, a fee of $100 will be applied, plus the original pet fee. There is no fenced yard and pets must be on leashes at all times and not left unattended in the cabin.
- Items not permitted with no exceptions: Events of any kind, Unauthorized Guests, EV Charging, Smoking inside or around the Premises & No grilling/outdoor fires.
- Firewood is not provided. Please stop by the local stores for firewood before your stay.
- There are other cabins on this property. The only shared area is the driveway.
- We provide one body towel per guest and hand towels.
- An unauthorized early check in or late check out will result in a minimum $150 fee.
- We are in a Mountain Town, during winter months, there may be snow which might require you to wait on the snow plows (we're a small Town) or shovel your car out of the property.
- Please scroll to the bottom of the listing, click "show more" under House Rules for other important info. These are very important and we expect that guests follow these completely.

The AC/Heating for the Unit is a Mini Split system. There is one unit in the living room and one unit in the bedroom. They work effectively but please be patient after turning on. Please do not overrun.

Please check the weather conditions prior to your departure. Snow chains are needed with icy conditions!
