Cook, hang out, explore, and dive into the essence of rural living at our comfortable home in Lamoine — 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and 15 minutes to Ellsworth. Lamoine is a little town by the coast that's central for exploring the towns and nature around the Downeast Maine area.

Our 1938 house is surrounded by serene woods, yet just off the road, providing a perfect escape for those in search of quiet, nature-rooted experiences after a day sightseeing in town or hiking. A few miles away are pebble / sand beaches and Lamoine State Park by the water which is a delight for easy strolls and picnics.

Morning Delights:
Relax on the front steps or the backyard dining table with your morning coffee, setting a peaceful tone for the day.

Evening Gatherings:
Savor BBQ dinners under the enchanting string lights in the backyard. Whether you're working or unwinding, enjoy our super-fast WiFi. Or grab a lobster dinner in Bar Harbor !

Our vintage home is adorned with amenities for a comfortable stay, including a dishwasher. Take pleasure in a strong, hot shower after your days of exploration.

Accomodations:
Downstairs features the bathroom, a bedroom with queen bed, and a sofabed. The stairway resembles a ship's ladder, and due to the downstairs bathroom, we suggest older kids (not younger) use the upstairs trundle bed.

Creative & Work Space:
Upstairs, a small, sunny room with charming blue-painted vintage plank wood floors serves as the perfect office for focusing online, or for painting and writing.

Fully Equipped Kitchen:
Equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove/oven, drip coffee maker, Keurig, and an abundance of plates, dishes, and linens, you'll find everything you need for a great stay.

There's a washer and dryer with soap, too.

Adventure Gear:
You'll find emergency umbrellas, blaze orange bandanas (for visibility on streets and trails), a few beach towels, and portable camping chairs for visits to nearby Lamoine Beach, Lamoine State Park, Marlboro Beach and beyond.

Comfort and Security:
Enjoy central heat and and a/c in the summah. For your peace of mind, a Ring security camera is installed on the roof facing the driveway.
