The furniture in the house is small, making the spaces look bigger than in the photos. The house and rooms are very small.The house is on a shared property with another house. That was never communicated in the listing or with check in instructions from the host. It made the check in process very confusing.There is an infestation of ants. We noticed them in the kitchen cupboards and then the bathrooms. Later we saw a huge line traveling from outside and entering through cracks in the stucco. When I brought this up with the host, I was told there was insect spray available for my convenience.The house was not clean. The walls were dirty and dingy. There were black and gray marks everywhere. The floors had not been mopped in quite a while. Our feet were black with dirt and grime after walking around for just a few minutes. We wore shoes for the remainder of our time. There was trash all over the property outside. The trash bins were overflowing and trash was all down the hill of the property. There is no real space to let your dogs out to use the bathroom. We had to put them on leashes to take them out to the very small space available in the front. The house is up on a hill right off a very busy street.After booking the property I was told I needed to fill out a credit card authorization form for possible extra charges. I did after a lot of back and forth. I was double charged and wasn’t refunded until I checked out. Not sure the reason for this.
