Our quiet neighborhood is the talk of the town with Shops at Stonefield just across the street to include a state of the art Imax Theatre, top of the line retailers, and awesome restaurants. Charlottesville has so much to offer for family and friend reunions - and our home can comfortably accommodate such gatherings. Just outside our door, our quiet neighborhood boasts the talk of the town - Shops at Stonefield. The shopping complex has a state of the art Imax Theatre, top of the line retailers, and a wide variety of restaurants. We are just down the street from the University of Virginia and convenient to Monticello, historic sites, vineyards, shopping, night-life, and so much more for your family to share. We attempt to provide everything that a guest might need during your stay. Our home is clean, cost effective, comfortable, and convenient to UVA, historical sites, vineyards, restaurants, and all that Charlottesville has to offer. We are discounting long term stays for families and friends who are relocating, temporary employment, traveling nurses, vacations, University visits, etc. We look forward to your stay. Please enjoy.

We are extremely happy that you had a comfortable stay in our vacation home. Thank you for your kind words. We prefer to toast bread in the conventional oven versus having a toaster which can get messy with short term visits. We are also happy to know that our furniture and amenities were comfortable and entertaining for your visit. The renovated bathroom continues our UVA orange and blue theme...with the bathtub refinished partially in an orange hue...maybe we will consider refinishing the tub in a different color to avoid any confusion with stains. I will update my detailed arrival instructions and helpful hints to navigate your way around our home to include “clockwise” turns for faucet “on” and “counter-clockwise” turns for faucet “off.” Several rolls of backup toilet paper are in the linen closet next to the bathroom...we will move the extra paper products to a higher shelf just in case guests might have challenges bending over to locate them. We live in a very quiet neighborhood and hope that our guests remain cordial and neighborly. We made extra efforts to accommodate this guest and even received messages from this guest of how much she “loved” our home, so we are a little perplexed to receive such an average review. The family on the floor below our home did not find this guest’s noise level neighborly at times and let’s just say, we wish this guest the best in finding a new home that can sustain such noise levels. We are extremely happy with our new guests and will continue to make every effort to ensure a comfortable, convenient, and accommodating stay at our newly renovated home. Please enjoy.

We own and manage vacation properties for more than ten years and make sure our guests are comfortable and enjoy our homes. Our air conditioning works and has never stopped working. This guest did not contact me until two days after arrival. Once I received her communication, a technician was sent to my vacation home within minutes and turned the air conditioning "on" within seconds. Unfortunately, this guest could not switch the "on" button to cool. If this guest would have contacted me upon arrival, the issue would have been resolved in a short matter of time. We make it our goal to respond to any and all guest as soon as possible. The VRBO website shows that we respond at least within an hour. Matter of fact, we responded to this guest immediately on each communication. We also went above and beyond with communication by responding timely, sending pages of helpful information to navigate around our home, and supplying additional research about activities in Charlottesville for this guest to enjoy. For this guest to suggest that she could not contact the owner or VRBO is just not true. Of course VRBO has 24 hour service for guests and owners. To go even further, I personally drove from Washington, DC to visit our Charlottesville home and make sure any issues were resolved. To my delight, the home is in good standing and will continue to bring joyful memories to our future guests as it has for more than five years. Please enjoy.
