This oceanfront condo was perfect. From morning sunrises, coffee and French pastry or evening cheese plate and wine on the porch, it is the perfect setting. Quick access to Orient Beach was just what we were looking for.Check in and check out was a breeze. We would return!

Christian was a wonderful host, very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. It was lovely being met at the property, particularly as we got in after dark, to be shown around and have things explained.The apartment is just lovely with everything you could need and the most beautiful view to wake up to each morning. It was a good distance away from Orient Bay village to be quiet but also a lovely 10 minute walk along the beach to get to shops, beach clubs and restaurants. They had lots of free parking onsite although we didn’t need it, Marlene the lovely taxi lady that Christian recommended took us everywhere we needed. Would highly recommend this beautiful place, hope to be back again.

Had a very nice stay. The walk to the beach and pool was nice. The unit is well equipped. Only a short drive to restaurants, markets, etc. The only negative was the glass doors to the balcony. They whistled terribly when the wind piped up. The owners told us they have replacement gaskets!! Would have been nice if they had actually installed them.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in the Turquoise Suite and thank you for your feedback. Regarding the bay window, the apartment faces the sea, and when there's a gust of wind before the rain, simply close the small bathroom window (which draws in air) and, most importantly, lower the roller shutter until the rain stops, as we advised you to do. We wanted to add some adhesive foam sealant for your convenience, but it turns out to be unnecessary ; the sunny weather returned so quickly that you told me it was no longer necessary. None of our guests have ever complained about whistling from the window. We look forward to welcoming you again to one of our five sea-facing suites.

Orient Bay First Visit

First time in Saint Martin , Orient Bay beach was fantastic, VRBO hosts were fantastic, driving can be a little bit dangerous and overwhelming to inexperienced drivers. Area we were staying was more of a desert by climate than we envisioned. Overall had a Great great vacation.

Orient Beach

Chantel and Christian were excellent hosts. We rented a car from them and they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. The 1 bedroom condo was small but very well equipped. The view from the balcony was fabulous, overlooking Orient Bay and St. Barts in the distance.

Stunning view and great location!

We loved our stay in Orient Bay! The view from the condo was spectacular and steps from a gorgeous beach. The condo was equipped with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. The king size bed was very comfortable. The host was friendly and so helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we returned this year! The condo is clean and well decorated and equipped to meet all our needs. There is a beautiful swimming pool and the view is stunning. It is right on Orient Bay beach and a few minute drive away from a large selection of excellent restaurants. The hosts are helpful but not intrusive. A perfect get-away!!

Everything about this place is perfect. The owners are responsive, and nearby…not to mention lovely people. The apartment is well appointed, and the view is incredible. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and beaches is as good as it gets. Parking is easy, and your personal safety is never in question. Restful stay at Studio Turquoise

From the first day we arrived, the weather perfect, the location of this unit great for us, far enough away from the activity of Orient Bay, but close enough to walk to all restaurants, bars, shops, market. The unit was perfect for two people, kitchen had all we needed, spent all our time on the lanai playing cards and drinking wine. This is facing the best view, open the doors turn off the a/c and listen to the waves. The best snorkeling on the whole beach is right in front of the unit near the rocks, we saw many different fish. The pools are beautiful and kept very clean. Just a couple things that need attention, the closet doors do not work properly, need fixing and the tv did not have signal, but we did not really care as the view and quiet was what we needed. All and all fantastic!

As your check-out done we saw immediately the problem of the closet door due to a wheel not fixed. We put out this door while we can find and change the mini wheel.m missing. The large TV has all the channels, Neflix, etc … that you can need and is OK. TV’s Channels are coming with the private WIFI of the condo. But just one thing important : the OrangeBox button should be « ON » . If it is « OFF » the TV says « NO SIGNAL ». Always there to welcome in our beautiful Oceanview Turquoise Suite for a next stay with us. You can call us directly too 😎

Just another day in paradise!

Perfect for two. The sunrises were spectacular and the view breathtaking! We enjoyed getting in our exercise as we walked to a variety of beach clubs on Orient Bay. Parking was also a journey on its own but we got used to it. We did have some weather while we were there, and so we had to stay in one night for dinner. The pizza place next to the little store is absolutely amazing. We loved their white pizza the most, they had a thin crispy crust that was scrumptious! Do not miss out on that opportunity. This was a wonderful location, easy to access so many other places: Grand Case, Pinel Island, shopping and more. Our hosts were lovely, providing great communication about happenings on the island and they even brought us homemade crepes. All in all a fabulous experience! Missing it already!

Paradise

From the time that I booked until we departed; the host Chantal & Christian were awesome! They answered the many questions that I had ( as this was our first visit to Saint Martin) they were in contact when our plane landed and Christian was waiting at the property when we arrived. He gave a tour of the condo with local insight for our interest and some handy guides. The property was beautiful with an up close ocean view; literally just steps away from the beach and the wonderful pool. The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac just a 8 minute drive from Orient Beach restaurants & shops. The unit was very clean and had starter items supplied until we could get to the store ( one on property & a large one just a 5 minute drive.) The bed was very comfortable & enjoyed our morning coffee on the east facing balcony! We had rented a small car which was perfect to get around & there was parking with a short walk up the hill to get to the unit. We would definitely stay at this property again! I can’t say enough about how wonderful Christian & Chantal are and how peaceful & perfect this property was for us😊

Birthday stay with a twist or two

We stayed March 11-18, 2023 The place was nice the view was great. We enjoyed the orient bay beach area. There was a nice new large pool to use. The owner made an error with our arrival date and the departing date of previous renter so we had to stay in a different unit than we rented for the first night. Chantal was able to do that for us. She was a very nice lady. We then had to move into the original unit the next day which also happen to be my birthday. Unfortunately there was no water for us to shower or flush for several days throughout the week . We made the most of our time but it was not the dreamiest vacation circumstances. Make sure the water situation is better if that is important to you before you book hopefully it will be soon. I realize things can go wrong and we didn’t want to keep searching for last minute locations for our vacation while on vacation so we looked at the positive things To enjoy. The lovely beaches and restaurants on it and the areas near. St Martin is a lovely island with great nice, kind people.

Thank you Paul for your comment ! It was a pleasure to welcome you to our home. As you know in St Martin city water comes from the sea and is treated in the factory before being distributed. The entire population and all the neighborhoods of the island are currently experiencing water cuts due to a technical breakdown at the SAUR (the water factory) in Marigot. Now the situation is stable and we have running water without any cuts. This is unfortunately not the fault of the owners and we are sorry as it is beyond our control. We understand very well that this affects us all in our comfort habits for a few hours. But by hood luck this has no impact on the apartment which, as you say, TURQUOISE SUITE has an extraordinary panoramic oceanview and very appreciable comfort with a large king size bed, new air conditioning and a large smart television, etc… Moreover, the comments on our listing left by our customers testify to their satisfaction, the rating they give is almost always 5*. A planning error was corrected immediately and you were able to enjoy the reserved apartment without inconvenience as we explained to you by email exchange. We pay a lot of attention, responsiveness and comfort to our guests. Always available to welcome you soon, we thank you for your trust! Comme vous le savez à St Martin l’eau courante provient de la mer et est traitée en usine avant d’être distribuée. Toute la population et tous les quartiers de l’ile subissent en ce moment des coupures d’eau en raison d’une panne technique à l’usine de l’eau la SAUR à Marigot. Aujourd’hui la situation est stable et nous avons de l’eau courante sans plus aucune coupure. Ce n’est malheureusement pas la faute des propriétaires et nous sommes désolés car c’est indépendant de notre volonté. Nous comprenons très bien que cela nous affecte à tous dans nos habitudes de confort durant quelques heures. Mais heureusement cela n’impacte en rien l’appartement qui comme vous le dites a une vue extraordinaire et panoramique sur l’ocean et la plage avec un confort très appréciable, un grand lit king size, une climatisation neuve et une grande television smart etc … D’ailleurs les commentaires de notre annonce laissés par nos clients témoignent leur satisfaction, la note qu’ils donnent est quasiment toujours de 5* Une erreur de planning a été corrigée immédiatement et vous avez pu profiter rapidement et en souplesse de l’appartement réservé comme annoncé dans nos échanges. Love St. Martin

Pros: Property was clean, great view, and located in a quiet area. Bryan was always available and a great help is assisting us with all of our needs. Cons: Rental chairs with umbrellas and restaurants were further down the beach requiring a nice hike or drive. Map and directions to property needs to be updated! Overall, would recommend this property.

Très belle vue !

Accueil très chaleureux et apprécié ! Vue incroyable sur Orient Bay ! Eau turquoise, petit vent très agréable en permanence dans la baie, vue sur St-Barth, à distance à pied par la plage de plusieurs restaurants beach et bar avec chaises, tables et parasol fournis pour la journée avec une consommation chacun…très beau secteur près du Super U (vraiment pas cher !) Par contre il manque une piscine (détruite par Irma et pas encore reconstruite) et le site extérieur du Mont Vernon est vraiment vieux, détruis et mal entretenu. Les toits sont neufs et quelques lumières extérieures mais tout est plutôt ordinaire à vrai dire. Coin très tranquille vraiment par contre.

Merci Dany and Palma pour votre commentaire ! La residence a subi le puissant cyclone Irma en 2017, les travaux de rénovation sont terminés dans l’immeuble de notre condo et donc c’est très calme. Le hall de réception est en fin de réfection, les jardins sont bien entretenus, et la piscine doit voir le jour pour la prochaine saison, les habitations étaient prioritaires à la reconstruction. Cela n’impacte en rien l’appartement qui comme vous le dites est très agréable en plus de bénéficier d’une vue mer incroyable. Nous sommes ravis que vos vacances vous ont été agréables dans notre jolie suite sur l’ocean accès plage à 2 pas. The residence suffered from the powerful cyclone Irma in 2017, the renovation work has been completed in the building of our condo and therefore it is very quiet. The reception hall is nearing completion, the gardens are well maintained, and the swimming pool should see the light of day for the next season, the houses were a priority for reconstruction. This has no impact on the apartment which, as you say, is very pleasant in addition to benefiting from an incredible sea view. Great location! Great views!

We had a super time in St. Martin and the condo was just perfect. Clean, well appointed and Christian greeted us and helped with our luggage, nice touch! He was very thorough in explaining all the details of the studio, the island attractions and the helpful guidebook they put together for vacationers. The view! Lovely ground floor view right out at the turquoise waters and white sand beaches of Orient Bay. Often we would take the short drive to Orient Beach for nude sunbathing and swimming! But you could also walk along the beach to arrive st the same location. We rented a small car and were really thankful for that and the parking spot that comes with the property. We enjoyed driving all around the island and spent several evenings dining and watching the sunset in nearby Grand Case, just a few minutes drive. The people of the island are friendly and helpful. This was a great way for us to have a comfortable and quiet home base during our adventures. Thank you Christian and Chantal for a memorable trip!

Perfect Accomodations

This studio is lovely with a patio that overlooks Orient Bay. The owners are warm & welcoming. They provided us with all the information we needed to have a wonderful vacation. We have stayed in this studio three consecutive years and look forward to returning. We enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the water during the day or viewing the magnificent stars at night . We walked to restaurants and had relaxing days in the sun. This is a special place & you leave with treasured memories.

excellent place to discover the friendly island

Spent a few days here with my girlfriend. The apartment is clean, well equipped (see other reviews), and very well located to discover the island. You can walk in your swimming suit to the beach or swimming pool just a few steps away. Orient bay is one of the best beachs of the island. A short drive leads you to grand case, anse Marcel, or cul de sac to rent a kayak or take the little boat to pinel island. All of these places are very nice to visit. Chantal and Christian are very friendly and thoughtful. Just read the other reviews too. I confirm most of them. One last thing, consider renting a car. Unless you want to rely on cabs and spend most of your time in the area, which is fine too as there are many interesting things to do. Just the island being small is a misleading fact for walking or biking fans, because it is all pretty steep hills. Enjoy anyway, it is a lovely area.
