Adventure to your Adirondack escape, a rustic-modern log cabin nestled between the lakes and peaks of upstate New York. Just 3 minutes from Schroon Lake Beach and 25 from skiing at Gore Mountain, this is your four-season basecamp. Whether you’re here to snowmobile, paddle, swim, hike, or simply unwind by the fire and take in the changing leaves, our family-friendly cabin is calling.
Sleep under timber beams. Breathe pine air. Watch stars you forgot existed. Your Adirondack getaway starts here.
Located in Pottersville, New York, this cozy retreat sits in the heart of adventure, perfectly positioned for every season.
Just 3 minutes from public access to Schroon Lake and 10 minutes from the charming lakeside town, you’ll have easy access to swimming, boating, farmers markets, and classic Adirondack shops and cafés. Less than a minute away, explore the world-famous Stone Bridge & Caves Park, home to spectacular underground caverns, waterfalls, and hiking trails, one of the Adirondacks’ most unique natural attractions.
Within a 10-minute radius, you’ll find multiple trailheads, scenic overlooks, and snowmobile routes connecting into the region’s vast trail network. And when winter hits, Gore Mountain Ski Resort is just 25 minutes away, offering some of the best skiing and riding in Upstate New York. For a local bite or drink, the beloved Café Adirondack and Black Bear Bar are just 2 minutes down the road.

-The Ski Room (bedroom 1): Full bed with in room TV
-The Forest Room (bedroom 2): Queen bed & Twin bed (ideal for families)
-Lower Level Lounge: Finished basement with two twin beds and a pull out sofa (extra sleeping by request), Smart TV and Wii for entertainment
Living Area:
-Soaring A-frame ceilings, open concept living space
-Gas fireplace for easy warmth and cozy nights
-Large windows with forest views
-Smart TV with streaming apps
-Board games & puzzles for unplugged evenings
Kitchen & Dining:
-Fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and cookware
-Drip and Keurig Coffee makers, coffee and sweeteners provided
-Dining table for 6, extendable with 2 additional chairs available
Bathroom:
-One full bath on the main floor with shower
-Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and straightener provided

-Front porch with rocking chair for morning coffee or stargazing
-Private driveway and easy year-round access

-Rural Adirondack location, with no cell service for about two minutes before arrival and limited coverage nearby

-The cabin uses a septic system, so please flush only toilet tissue and keep grease or food scraps out of the sinks
-In winter, use caution on icy steps; salt & shovel provided

Our home comfortably sleeps 7 guests, with space for up to 11 total upon approval. Please note there is only one bathroom. Rates are based on up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25 per night (maximum 11). Please include the correct number of guests when booking so we can prepare the space comfortably for everyone!
Guest access: Access is through a key stored in a coded lockbox located beside the left-side door of the cabin. You’ll receive your personal access code before check-in.
Guests have full access to the entire A-Frame cabin and all outdoor spaces, including the front patio and firepit area. The main living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom are located on the first and second floors.
The lower-level basement lounge is a bonus space, available for extra sleeping and hangout use as needed. It includes two twin beds, a pullout couch, large sectional couch, and a second TV with a Wii console for movie nights or games.
A washer and dryer are also located downstairs in the same room as the water heater and utilities. Please use caution around equipment if doing laundry.
For safety and storage purposes, a few locked closets and cabinets are reserved for owner supplies, and the outdoor shed is not available for guest use.
The driveway provides ample private parking right in front of the cabin. There are no shared spaces, the property is entirely yours during your stay.
Other things to note
Fireplace & Firepit: Indoor fireplace is gas-operated, please don’t use wood or other materials. Follow the instructions provided and turn it off before bed or leaving. Outdoor firepit is for wood fires only; never leave unattended.
Cabin features: The cabin features rustic log railings, please use care on stairs and decks, especially with children.
Wildlife & Nature: Here, you will be one with nature, please don’t leave food outside and keep doors closed at night; unless you want an unplanned visitor or two!
Rural Location: Expect limited cell service for about two minutes before reaching the cabin and in nearby areas. Once at the cabin, you’ll have strong Wi-Fi, please enable Wi-Fi calling on your phone for calls and texts.
