Clean, comfortable, casual cottage just steps from your own Lake Michigan beach

Enjoy the relaxing beach life on your own private slice of the beautiful white-sand Lake Michigan beach. From the cottage and patio you have a 180-degree unobstructed view of the big lake. Watch freighters and sailboats glide by, and unbelievable sunsets.

The large open living/dining/kitchen combination provides a great place to gather. There are 3 bedrooms; two with king beds and one with two XL twins. The primary bedroom (king) has a large bath with a shower and a large jetted tub. The washer and dryer are also located here. The second bathroom has a shower and another dryer; perfect for all those wet beach towels. A screened-in porch runs the full-length of the house on the lake side. There's also a patio overlooking the beach.

You'll feel like you are miles away from civilization, but you have fiber optic internet and a smart TV (no TV service, but you can stream your own accounts). All three bedrooms and the dining room have ceiling fans. There are THREE outdoor showers for your return from a day at the beach.

Located in Oceana County, this rural area is a mecca for summer vacationing. The famous Silver Lake Sand Dunes are a 10-minute drive. Beautiful Stony Lake and Stony Creek are about 10 minutes in the other direction. High end dining and shopping are definitely not available nearby; Pentwater to the north and Whitehall to the south provide more "civilized" experiences (each about a 20-minute drive), but if you're up for a Bear Burger in Shelby, or checking out local farm markets, you are all set here. There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes. Also available nearby are horseback riding, water sports on Silver Lake (paddle boarding, pontoon boats, jetskis, waterskiing), Lewis Farms Adventure Park (petting zoo and tons of fun things for little kids), canoeing on the White River, and so much more.

This family cottage has never been available for rent before (hence no reviews yet). The owners live on the West Coast and only use it a few weeks each year.
