Schönes Blockhaus auf drei Hektar im Jahr 2006 am Lake Michigan, südlich des Stony Lake. Große Zimmer, wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr komfortabel.

Lassen Sie sich nicht von den fehlenden Bewertungen abschrecken. Dieses prächtige Anwesen wurde erst kürzlich zur Vermietung angeboten.

Das Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad sowie eine Gästetoilette im Erdgeschoss. Offene Grundriss ermöglicht schönen Wald / Blick auf den See mit viel Platz zum Entspannen. Feuerstelle auf der Steinterrasse am See, Weber-Holzkohlegrill und heiße / kalte Außendusche. Gemütliche Veranda mit funktionellen Kamin. Voll ausgestattete Küche, Esszimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Kamin (nicht für die Anwendung). Im Obergeschoss Höhle hat einen DVD-Player (kein TV-Service). Volle unfertige Keller mit Waschküche und Strandausrüstung, einschließlich 1-Personen-Kajak.

Fünfzig Stufen durch Wälder zu den Dünen und zum privaten Strand. Nehmen Sie Strandkörbe, Spielzeug und einen Regenschirm mit.

Diese Gegend von Michigan ist ruhig und ländlich für einen schönen, abgelegenen Kurzurlaub ... dies ist keine Gegend für gehobene Küche und erstklassige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sondern ein Ort, an dem Sie eine schöne Zeit mit Familie und Freunden verbringen können ... We had a wonderful stay at the Log and Stone Cabin. It was perfect for our two families of four and our boys absolutely loved the kayak! The short walk to Lake Michigan, along with the clean, vast, beautiful beach front was the highlight of our trip. This was the perfect place to get together, relax, and make new memories with our best friends!

Amazing Place

The cabin is amazing and is fully stocked with kitchen equipment/supplies. The beds were all very comfortable as well. Most importantly, getting down to the beach was a breeze!

Rented this VRBO as additional space for a large family gathering at our cottage just up the road from this one. Very well kept log cabin home with direct access to Lake Michigan. Clean, comfortable, great check-in process, and highly rated.

Getaway in woods and beach

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful log and stone cabin. The beach/patio and inside space was wonderful for the family. Laura, the manager, couldn’t have been more helpful and available . Some concerns were relayed to her and she was working on them

Perfect secluded family getaway

This cabin was a perfect spot for my family getaway. The house was true to the photos and steps down to a private beach with plenty of chairs to lounge on. No A/C but wonderful lake breezes and fans that kept us all cool at night. Laura was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Picture perfect

We had a delightful stay at this home, right on the Lake! (Unseasonably warm water temps made it even more enjoyable to boat and swim day after day!) The house was very clean and just what our family of six needed for relaxation and rest, really away from it all. We enjoyed a lot of the provided games! Laura was top notch! Highly recommend.

Perfect Lake Michigan Getawat

The house, the location, the privacy and the lake front was perfect for a late summer swim and relax week. Laura was excellent to work with and we had no issues. Very nicely decorated and an excellent floor plan if a large group is sharing it. But even with just the two of us, the main floor was nicely positioned. And the swimming was excellent. Fresh corn, cherries and blueberries were the best. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Vacation Home

The home and property was 100% as advertised. Completely furnished. Very clean and tidy. Many amenities for all age groups. The property is very private and has great access to Lake Michigan. We were very pleased to see that the high water level of Lake Michigan did not have an impact on an accessible and usable sandy beach. Laura was extremely accommodating and very pleasant to work with. We would give Laura an A+.

Exceptional

The log cabin was just what we needed for the feel of getting away to some place unique. Ample space for our family of 7. AWESOME BEACH! So fortunate beach erosion has not impacted this place. Stairs to beach easy to navigate. Loved outdoor shower, beach chairs, kayak, kitchen with everything you need. Location easy to find. Every bedroom with its own bathroom was so nice. Loved having disposal, Dishwasher, washer/dryer. No TV great decision of owner; makes you unplug. WiFi worked well. The sunroom and back patio overlooking lake; gorgeous. If we won a million we’d want to buy this place! We felt spoiled; so glad we found this home and upped our budget. Thanks for one of our best vacations ever!

Great place to stay

The first thing I noticed after opening the door- the impeccable cleanliness of the house. I have three kids and check every place we stay in. I would definitely hire the cleaning team for my house, and I am very picky. The cottage Is well decorated, with all necessary items for a comfortable stay. Kitchen: there is everything one needs for daily living. Nice plates, fancy cutlery, all pots and pans, knives, all appliances, plastic bags, foil for baking, dish soap and dishwasher packets. Everything was clean. Bathrooms- clean towels, clean bath tubs and toilets (I didn’t have a problem with my kids touching the toilet seat, and it is a big deal, believe me!). Bedrooms- kids loved the twin bed room, we stayed in the queen room on the second floor (I would have folded it and took with me, if I could, the view was beautiful!). Bedding is soft and clean, I took mine with me and never used it. Living room and room upstairs- all covers are clean. All windows are screened, we didn’t see even one mosquito in the house. Were able to open and air out the whole house every day. The screened patio is great for seating in the evening. Laundry room is big, bright and appliances are clean and working well. Basement is clean. Easy access to the beach. Nice beach chairs, kids toys. We had a wide sand line, no people around (can see neighbors in a distance). There is a petting zoo within 5 min drive, Cherry farm (10min), Walmart (15min). We comfortably spent 7 days in the house and loved everything. We really did.

Special Spot on Lake Michigan

First, let me start by saying how amazing Laura is as a host. Laura responded to emails, texts, a mistaken phone call. She is full of knowledge about the cabin, area, and always willing to help however she can. The cabin is situated on an amazing piece of land and we always felt we had all the privacy in the world (neighbors were never home - least from what we could tell). The beach is amazing (sad to see the trash that has washed up but overall wonderful with a very sandy lake bottom). The cabin was expertly cleaned and everything was as described in the profile. Aside from the 2 queen/full beds and the twin beds, I'm not sure you could sleep much more than 6 without bringing your own blow-up mattress but the space allows for it (we only had 4 adults and 1 infant so the space was great but was thinking about larger families/groups). We cannot wait to come back and take full advantage of the surrounding areas when COVID is finally behind us. Thank you again to Laura as we had an amazing week relaxing and unwinding!

What a lovely getaway! Would recommend this to my friends and family - just what we needed!

The house was exactly as represented and then some. Clean digs, all the kitchen stuff you need, board games galore and (must importantly) the beach was a walk away through through the trees and dunes. Lots of space for us to spread out and enjoy the sun, water, kayak and paddle board. Just what we had hoped for in these unpredictable times! Thank you Laura for a great stay.

Good place to unplug

Great home for unplugging from the world. Wi-Fi is limited in an area such as this so don’t expect to stream heavy content. Location is absolutely beautiful with the sounds of Lake Michigan waves putting you to sleep and greeting you in the morning. No A/C but none needed as we had all the windows open and the wind blew through to keep it cool and almost cold at times. We loved the isolation and privacy with short drives to fun and Grand Haven not to far South.

Beautiful Cottage

Beautiful property, nicely decorated, clean, in the woods with a view of the lake between the trees. Gorgeous sunsets. It was a very cool week but we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch with a fire in the stone fireplace, listening to the waves and the wind in the trees. Lots of card games, walks, and Netflix.

Perfect summer vacation!

What a beautiful cabin! We were very comfortable and happy. Especially liked the screen porch with fireplace. Property Manager (Laura) provided all the info we needed - good communication - and really great to work with. Her love of Lake Michigan is infectious and this cabin made our vacation perfect. My family is already excited to return next year.
