Waterfall Valley 5-bedroom house in Lauterbrunnen perfect for your getaway
Welcome to Bebbis Cabin, your cozy alpine home tucked away at the very end of Switzerland’s most breathtaking valley Stechelberg, where waterfalls pour down towering cliffs and fresh mountain air fills every morning.
This alpine cabin has been lovingly restored to blend old-world charm with modern comfort. Perfect for families, friends, or adventurers (up to 8 guests), a rare experience of true Swiss mountain life, just minutes from the Schilthorn cable car and world-class hiking and ski trails
Our cozy mountain home in Stechelberg offers plenty of space and comfort for families and groups. The property features 5 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. Each room is bright, clean, and furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
You’ll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen for cooking together, a spacious dining area, and a comfortable living space to unwind after a day in the valley. The home also includes one bathroom and a practical layout that keeps everything close and convenient.
Outside, you’ll find beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful Stechelberg valley. Parking is available on-site, and the cable car station to Gimmelwald/Mürren is just minutes away.
This home is designed to feel welcoming, simple, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after exploring the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
Security & privacy notice:
For guest and property safety, an outdoor security camera monitors the driveway and parking area only.
There are no cameras inside the home and no audio recording.
Guests have full access to the entire home during their stay. This includes all bedrooms, the living area, the fully equipped kitchen, and the bathroom.
The only area not accessible is a small housekeeping/ storage area in the old laube (archway), which includes two rooms used exclusively for housekeeping and storage.
You are also welcome to enjoy the outdoor seating area and the peaceful surroundings of Stechelberg.
You may use the laundry area, which includes a washing machine and a dryer. Laundry pods are provided.
The laundry room is part of the house, but it is not accessible from inside the living area. Access is via an exterior entrance by walking around the house.
The home also features a cozy indoor fireplace.
Parking is available on the right side of the house, and guests can come and go at any time during their stay.
I’m always happy to help if you need anything during your stay. You can reach me easily via the app, and I usually respond very quickly. If something urgent comes up, you can also call or message me directly — my contact details are available in the check-in instructions.
I respect your privacy, so I won’t stop by unless you request help, but I’m always here to support you with anything you need: questions about the home, local tips, or assistance during your stay.
During the winter season, the house is heated with a wood-burning oven. For this reason, we may need light the oven once per day. This is done in a separate room, not within the guest living area and does not affect your privacy or use of the house.
Our home is located in the peaceful Stechelberg valley, surrounded by nature and only a short walk from the valley bus stop. The bus runs regularly between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen, making it very easy to reach the cable cars, train station, and nearby villages without a car.
If you are arriving by car, there is a large parking area directly on the right side of the house. Parking is free and available at any time.
The house is part of a traditional Swiss building, so some ceilings or doorways may be a bit lower. In winter, weather can change quickly in the valley, so warm clothing and good shoes are recommended.
Please Note
The Laube (covered walkway) leading to the bedrooms may be colder on winter days.
This is normal in alpine houses.
Please store ski and snowboard boots in the covered outdoor area (“Laube”) next to the entrance to keep the home clean.
We provide essentials such as bed linens, towels, laundry pods, firewood, and basic kitchen supplies to make your stay comfortable.
If you have any questions before booking, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help.
