There is a large cosey high ceiling, living, dining and office area with many big windows looking on to a private fenced in back yard space. The bedroom is on a step up level with curtians dividing it from the living area. The kitchen is on a 3rd step up into the old basement area of the cottage. The kitchen has a rustic feel, with a microwave, toaster/airfryer, and two burner induction stove top and a sink original to the 1905 cottage. There is a combination LG washer and dryer and a refrigator. The bonas room is a closet with build in drawers. It has a couch that makes into a bed with the linens stored in the seat of the couch. The bathroom is a European design with southern flavor. It's like a creek bed with stone tiles flooring and open shower. Amphibians are painted on the antique wash stand vanity. Enjoy all that Asheville has to offer when you stay at Dragonfly Cottage. Downtown restaurants and shops, South Slope Breweries, The River Arts District, and music venues like Gray Eagle, Orange Peal and Asheville Ampitheather are all within walking distance. For traveling nurses the hospital is 3-5 minutes away.
