Cozy 1BR Woodland Cabin with Two Tranquil Pond

Escape to a one-of-a-kind, cozy retreat just 1 mile south of McArthur on Route 93. This 2-person cabin includes a private hot tub for post-adventure relaxation. Enjoy catch-and-release fishing in our pond, then lounge on the front porch under the stars as the fountain provides a calming soundtrack. Unique dome igloo tent for cozy chats, games, or quiet mornings, Hot water, reliable heat, and all the comforts of home in a serene setting.


The space: Our cabin is located 1 mile south of McArthur and sits on 6 acres of woods and 2 ponds. We have our ponds stocked for catch-and-release fishing (bring your own rods). Firewood is provided for our backyard fire pit.

We are just 16 miles from many popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave) & the Hocking Hills State Park. We are located just 5 miles from the Richland State Forest public ATV trails. So bring your 4 wheelers for even more fun! The cabin is 10 miles from the beautiful Zaleski State forest and for adventurous hikers, the eerie Moonville Tunnel, located 14 miles from the cabin.

Lake Rupert and Lake Alma are both around 10 minutes away from the cabin. Lake Rupert is mainly known for recreational activities such as bank and boat fishing, but be aware that they have no boat rentals there. Lake Alma includes a public swimming beach, sports areas, and picnic areas. Lake Alma does offer boat and kayak rentals for those wanting water activities.
