Mr. Martin, Where we very much appreciate your review, we feel like we need to clear some things up here. We told you that the pool had been treated/shocked and that it would be cloudy for a while. That cleared up, and was not an issue. It is impossible to keep this pool completely clean at all times due to the amount of trees around the property. That is why we provide a skimmer for guest use during their stay. The burners on the stove and fans were due to user error. Our team came out to the property very promptly to assist you with this. As for the tripping hazards, we are very sorry that your wife tripped and injured herself during your stay with us. We were very sensitive to her injuries and the entire situation. Promptly after you left, you were demanding a full refund, but considering our team's responsiveness and the fact that we could not find any major issues supporting your claims, we chose to only extend 50%. We chose to do that out of good faith because we could tell that you guys were having a really tough time and unfortunate experience. That is not at all what we strive for here at Overnight Digs. However, after reviewing video footage of the incident, it was clear on the video that your wife tripped on the sidewalk transition from flagstone to pavement while holding a drink and was not able to brace her fall. Our team inspected the whole property after this incident to make sure. Again, we are very sorry this happened while you were staying with us. We have not had anyone else report any of these issues to us. We feel this review may be in retaliation for not getting the refund you hoped for. We hope that you have a better experience next time you come to Hot Springs.

What a beautiful description of your reunion! We are so glad the three-home setup provided the perfect balance of space for your families. It sounds like the 'gathering room' was the heart of the trip—there really is nothing like those lake views under a vaulted ceiling to bring everyone together. We’re also thrilled the pool design worked so well for the little ones! Safety is always a top priority for us, so knowing the 6-inch section allowed the kids to play comfortably is wonderful to hear. Getting a visit from the local eagles and deer each morning is just the icing on the cake. Thank you for the recommendation, and we would love to host your family reunion again!
