Das Hotel liegt an der wunderschönen Gatehouse Road, neben dem Testimonial Gateway. Gatehouse Gardens ist eine sehr ruhige und private Umgebung am Mohonk Preserve mit hervorragenden Wander- und Radwegen.

Wir sind günstig gelegen, nur eine Meile außerhalb des Dorfes von New Paltz. Hervorragende Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, SUNY New Paltz (Kunstgalerie und Theater); nur wenige Minuten entfernt.
Wir bieten Annehmlichkeiten, die man nicht in den meisten B & B findet, wie einen beheizten Swimmingpool und einen Whirlpool.

Das Minnewaska Zimmer befindet sich auf der zweiten Etage. Es hat einen eigenen Eingang. große private Terrasse mit abgeschirmten Pavillon und schöner Aussicht auf den Teich und die Tierwelt.
Große Garderobe mit Eitelkeit. Das Badezimmer ist von der Ankleide getrennt und hat eine schöne große geflieste Dusche.

Das Minnewaska Zimmer ist unser Lieblingszimmer.

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and pictured in the listing. Rick, our host, met us on arrival and show us all the features our rental had to offer. He was friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well-maintained. There were many nice personal touches. We really enjoyed the screened in Gazebo and the outdoor space. The hot tub was available to us, but we chose not to use it because it was too chilly outside. We would definitely stay here again.

What a charming apartment

This property is perfect for couples. It has a private entrance, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. There's also an outside gazebo just outside the door. (Too chill to use it during out stay.) The hosts were were onsite, which is a plus. I would definitely stay here again if visiting nearby family.

Beautiful property, warm comfortable room

Loved the property, quiet, gorgeous and private, yet very close to downtown New Paltz. The bed was comfortable and room warm and inviting. Check-in/check-out was smooth and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back

Lovely house outside New Paltz

Gatehouse Gardens is the perfect place to stay when popping around the Hudson Valley. We were well located to visit several vineyards and minnewaska state park, as well as close enough to New Paltz for dinner in town. The pool is icing on the cake!

Amazing gem!

We loved staying at gatehouse gardens! Wonderful location, very close to downtown newpaltz with a beautiful Pool and hot tub! Very relaxing! Owner on premises and available for assistance if necessary! (Although there was nothing we needed) also left fruit, eggs, coffee, milk and wine for us! Thought of everything to make us comfortable! This was our second stay there and we will come again! Highly recommend!

This room is in a great location near minnewaska for hiking , and the room has its own porch which was really nice The room was clean enough and had mini fridge and microwave.

Great hosts and location

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding at Mohunk. Rick was kind enough to wait up for me to arrive at midnight! Grounds are gorgeous and the room was clean and nice. It’s a flight up with your own entrance and attached to their house.

Private getaway in woods!

Wonderful clean and comfortable place to relax and unwind! Our mother daughter 2 day retreat was perfect especially with the pool and hot tub! The area has plenty to see and do! The host was very nice and accommodating! Just what we wanted!

Perfect location and beautiful property

We were in town to visit Historic Huguenot Street. The location of Rick and Cindy's property was perfect. We walked into town the first evening. The distance was perfectly walkable, and there is a trail that covers more than half the distance. The road was busier than we anticipated, and the section walking along it doesn't have much shoulder, so we got taxis to and from for the rest of our stay. It's a 5 minute/$7 ride ride, and the wait for a cab was never more than about 15 minutes. The property itself is spectacular - green and lush. The room was clean and spacious, and our hosts went to the trouble to stock the fridge with some food in case we were scrambling in the morning. There was a huge thunderstorm, and we sat out in the screened in gazebo to watch the rain and enjoy a glass of wine. We had a terrific stay, and we will definitely look to stay at Gatehouse Gardens again the next time we are in town. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!

Great Stop Over

I was passing through and a New Paltz alumni so it was a great stop over for me. Safe, clean, private and a great opportunity to visit with some old friends. Great hospitality. Great getaway

This place was wonderful. A lot more spacious than expected and clean. The gazebo was nice and relaxing to sit in and overlook the yard and pond. Close drive to the village and monhonk preserve. Thank you for letting others enjoy your wonderful home

peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful stay with breakfast on the deck and after dinner drinks in the screened in gazebo. The pool and hot tub made for a relaxing and refreshing time while on site (badminton was a gas as well). Rick gave helpful hints for things to do and this secluded spot is conveniently located just minutes from town.

Felt like home

We were in NY visiting our son and wanted a place where we could come and go easily from his place to our place. Rick and Cindy's home was perfect. Not only was the room comfortable, quiet, and safe, but we were able to entertain our son too in the gazebo, large deck and yard with pond just outside our room. The extra touches--refrigerator stocked with breakfast, fruit, and wine, and the warm welcome from our hosts made us feel immediately at home and at ease. Every detail was considered in preparing our guest space! Thanks so much!

Tranquil Stay

Beautiful Property, Great Location

Loved having our own private deck with gazebo overlooking the pond. Great location just over the bridge outside of town. So much to do we didn’t even have time to swim in the heated pool or use the hot tub! Comfortable and clean with attentive owners.

Beautiful and relaxing

The house is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and well kept. Rick was great, he advised us about things to do in the area and was always available if need it. The area is great there is a cute town close by and plenty of places to enjoy nature. I will definitely be going back.
