This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property. The first time was 3 years ago and the house was newer and better maintained. We felt the floor cleanliness could have been better and it appears to have all the same area rugs as 3 years ago. I feel for the price, these items should be replaced periodically. We washed all the pot holders and oven mitts. The draw with those items was not clean. The bed linens seemed to be the same and out of shape from 3 years ago, as well. The screen door was ripped up and the grill didn't work properly. We had to bring the food in and put it in the oven to finish cooking it. Last time we stayed, there were extra towels specifically for pets and the beach and this time there weren't any. I list all these items just because we did stay 3 years ago and loved it and this time felt for the price that it should be better maintained. There was also several large spiders that we had to get rid of.

The house was beautiful and great views. Very comfortable and quiet could hear the ocean all night it was wonderful. Felt right at home for the holidays.

Beautiful location and lovely home; our only feedback:: the double bed in the smaller bedroom (2nd floor) was uncomfortable (dipped in the middle) and could use an upgrade!

We absolutely love this property and location. Brought our black lab for the first time and he had a wonderful stay as well. The owners clearly care about our canine friends and leave a very welcoming space for the whole family!

We were part of a larger group staying in a large house just about 300 ft away. It was easy to walk over and convenient to have our own space too.

Oceanside privacy

We loved having 3 floors near the beach but with some privacy. Comfy bed, big tub, room for the dogs to ro.p inside. Enjoyed it very much.

Oceanside getaway

Nice stay at a very comfortable spot. The weather was so nice, so we had to get out and the area is lovely. We also enjoyed our time at the house though. The open layout of the top floor is great and the stars were out so it was nice time on the deck in the evening.

The property is located in a fantastic area. The beaches within walking distance are spectacular, the tide-pools with a 10-min drive are among the most diverse on the west coast, and nearby Tillamook has interesting attractions and restaurants. The house itself was quite comfortable but pretty basic. The beds were comfortable and the couches/chairs in the living area were comfy and relaxed. There is one bathroom on the same floor as the two bedrooms and one bathroom on the top floor. The view is pleasant, but the ocean view is obscured largely by trees. There are about 30 steps from the entry to the living area, so if you have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for you. The kitchen had most of the utensils we wanted (except a bread knife), but it is definitely not equipped for cooking a fancy meal: some pots were old and tinny. The bedside light in the master bedroom did not work and was not repaired despite two texts. Casago responded very promptly to texts, but they had to consult with the "local team", which was apparently why the light was not repaired. When we arrived, all of the soap dispensers in the showers were empty. The local team brought us a ziplock bag of liquid soaps, but there was about 1 oz of body soap per person for 3 nights. There was only one dish towel and one bath towel per person. It seemed a little stingy. Overall - a very pleasant stay with some minor annoyances.

We appreciate the heads-up about the bedside light, shower soaps, towels, and kitchen items. We'll have the local team repair the master bedside light, fully refill the shower dispensers, add extra bath and dish towels, and replace worn pots and add a bread knife so the kitchen is better stocked for future guests. Very nice vrbo

Very nice ,clean and well equipped. Zero ATT cell coverage but don't blame vrbo owner for this. Property has very good wifi so if you have ATT just configure your phone for wifi calling.

Perfect “ just off the beach “ house

Great property, close to the beach. Light & bright. Would rent again. Only con is it was advertised for 8 people and accommodations were not really sufficient for 8. I would say 5.

Nice Home Away From Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable. The bathtub is large and long if you need a soak. Warm floor in the bathroom! There are great kitchen cooking supplies, pots and pans and a nice assortment of those things you forget if you're going to cook. The heaters work great. The view from the small office upstairs is great, what a cozy room to curl up with a book! The walk to the beach is typical for Oceanside, not too long. You'll feel like you are in a nest in a tree above the beach. Enjoy!

Great house

We enjoyed our stay at this newer house in Oceanside! The location is just up the hill from town, maybe a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive, in a very quiet corner of town away from the main street leading to/from Oceanside. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen/dining/living room that was up on the 3rd floor, it felt like you were up in the trees. It is three stories and there isn't an elevator, so be prepared to walk up/down a lot and the house wouldn't be well suited for those with mobility issues.

I had a neck prodecure done and I chose this place to recuperate from surgery. My stay at this home was exactly what I needed.The recliner was a blessing since I had to sleep upright for a couple nights. There were plenty of pillows in the bedrooms and the beds were comfortable.The house was clean and the kitchen had alot of the basics more to cook a meal. I did alot of doordash and they found the house w/o issues. The walk to the beach was great though I took the longer route and took the back roads. Walking was handy since parking was sparse and there is a day parking fee. This is a pretty sleepy type of town so the limited restaurants do close early but I went to my favorite coffee/breakfast shop at Current Cafe. Doordash was pretty useful for my dinner options or a quick trip to Tillamook was great as well.I loved the deck. I sat there out there everyday reading my book or just soaking up the sun. There are alot of trees but surprisingly, there was a lot of sun that came in. MINOR CONS:The blinds upstairs are cordless and they were up when I arrived. Since I had limited range of motion of my head and neck, I couldn't pull them down so I didn't like that lack of privacy for the 3 days I was on my own.The neighbor started early with his construction so we woke up w the sound of hammering pretty early in the morning. These were pretty minor issues though and once the construction was done for the day, it was really quiet.

I'd like to make this a 2 part review. The place was 5 Stars as to what was advertised. Very clean, got a text that we could get in 2 hours early, the amenities were very modern and well stocked. The view to the ocean was very limited but still there was something to view. The second part of this review would be 2Stars. If you have trouble with stairs don't book a stay. There is no cell service at the property and VERY limited service in the city limits. We had 2 of the top three cell companies (TM & V) with no coverage. Some may say that a vacation is to get away from your phone and social media but some may use their phone to look for 'restaurants near me', tidal schedules, grocery stores. With almost no restaurants or seafood vendors in OS you will need to find a store and be willing to cook most of your meals. I go on vacation to get away from the kitchen so for me this is a place that doesn't work for me, hence the 2 Stars... But again the place is top notch for clean, neat and straight. The beaches were the cleanest sand I've seen on our yearly trek out to the coast. The online hosts for this property were easy to work with, so another 5 Stars for them.
