The roomy floor plans offer amazing lake views from all three floors, which provide ample room to both relax and entertain. The top-floor living area is where you will find the main living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a balcony - perfect for bird and elk watching. A second living area is appointed with a smart TV, a foosball table, air hockey, and a Wii. No matter the occasion or season, Escape to the Cape is sure to please. Added perks include an in-home elevator and WiFi.

Absolutely beautiful views, thoughtful touches and layout. This house had paddleboards, galoshes and wetsuits that worked wonderfully for us.

Great stay at the coast

We loved the amazing lake view! Just a 5 min walk down the road to the beach. Lots of fun games and beach toys available. Some of the windows needed cleaning and there was some pet hair on the furniture, but it was generally clean and did not bother us. We would stay again!

Great time in Cape Meares

The home was wonderful, and just a short walk to the beach. We loved exploring the caves at low tide! Beautiful sea life was to be found. The house was very clean but the area must get a lot of spiders as most of the windows were covered (on outside) with webs. Minor issue, we still loved our stay.

Slice of heaven

My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids (8,6, and 3yrs). We had the best time and were so sad to leave. Location was great, house was beautiful, views were amazing! Not a single complaint. Check in and out was easy and flawless. We hope to visit again soon!

Stunning!

My significant other and I stayed here along with our 2 dogs. I have never seen the ocean and the beach was only a short walk away. The lake was in the back yard. You'd wake up to the most beautiful views! The house itself was stunning. Every floor was beautifully decorated and really felt like home. The elevator really came in handy for our one dog with a bad back. Definitely would stay again!

Nice house in a beautiful location

The house was comfortable and clean. The location was amazing with beautiful views and walking distance to the beach. Only downside was that someone came to empty the outside garbage and let themselves into the house during our stay. We were out of the house at the time but we realized they were there because they forgot their hat in the bathroom. Made us all feel a little uncomfortable and felt a lack of privacy because we had no warning they would be coming inside with all of our belongings there and we weren't there.

Inaccurate listing

I am going to piggyback on what the last review entitled: "Incorrect info on listing" states. That review is spot on! There used to be a picture of 4 kayaks on the listing, but that has been taken down. The listing still mentions "kayak," but note, there is NO kayak at this rental! The bikes were not usable either, so don't expect to ride them. Also, if you want a fire, expect to burn down the entire property, since it was not manicured at all. The house itself was lovely (could use a DEEP clean), but my friends and I were looking forward to kayaking as a major focal point of this trip. Sad we didn't get to experience that!

Incorrect info on listing

Overall disappointed with the accuracy of the listing. The picture showed 4 kayaks, come to find out from the neighbors there are no kayaks available these didn’t even belong to owners of listing. Apparently ok to use expensive looking paddle boards but not listed anywhere so did not use these. Tubing available in garage had large holes. Fire pit noted but not cleared around to easily or safely use. The home needs a good cleaning dead bugs everywhere especially all over the large windows meant for the view upstairs. Screen for windows and doors broken and the 2nd screen door for top floor balcony broken. Not clear where third bed is located. ( Apparently, there is a trundle hidden under one of the twins- found when leaving). Ice machine on fridge does not work. Broken furniture shoved in corner of room with the twin beds. Large chip on stove top. Cue sticks missing for game board, someone had curtain sticks placed in there to use instead. Overall what could of been a great trip was disappointing- especially frustrated considering we paid a higher price expecting kayaks and a fire pit we couldn’t use.
