The apartment has a great location and a beautiful view from the balcony. It is located right next to the beach. Theres a supermarket nearby, so you dont need to drive to do the grocery shopping.

Ideal for family reunion

My husband and I travelled with our two adult children and their spouses, renting three condos here. Lots of chances to be together at the lovely beach and pool, and enjoyed grilling and eating in the picnic area. Nce to have the convenience and privacy if individual condos. A great stay!

A fairly good location

We had issues with spiders in the unit. The air conditioning was useless. The unit was sparsely equipped. The pool was excellent. The location for groceries could not be better.

We are sorry for your disappointment with the a/c but we are happy that we were able to get someone out to the unit on the second day of your stay to reconnect a vent hose so the a/c could function properly. Great pool that is only 4.5 feet at its deepest which is great for younger kids. Only drawbacks were no dishwasher or washer/dryer in the condo. Make sure to bring quarters for the coin operated machines onsite. Overall a very very nice place to stay and we’ll definitely be back in the future.

Unit D-214 is on the second floor with no elevator, but it's right next to the parking lot so you shouldn't have problems getting in and out. Just be ready to carry what you need up one flight of stairs. Everything was comfortable in the room. The two portable AC's did great. Highly recommend staying here if you can work with a second floor unit.

Nice but dated

The complex is a nice little set of condos on the beach. This particular unit is clean but dated. The kitchen was poorly laid out and a challenge to work in. The art is very dated. A couple of lights barely worked. And the biggest bummer: the pool is colder than the ocean, so nobody (except a dedicated lap swimmer) spent much time in it. Nonetheless, we had a nice time in Maui.

Old and Dated.

Curtains are old ,dirty and have holes in them . Bathroom cabinets are peeling, no counter space. We looked at some other units in the complex and the ones we saw were quite updated for the same amount of money.

Mahalo for your feedback. The livingroom curtains have been replaced. The install of the new curtains was 12/9/22. This unit is more on the original side however it is cleaned and maintained and priced accordingly. Not all condos are offered at the same rate.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waiohuli Beach Hale is located in Kihei, Maui. The location is on a gorgeous beach perfect for water activities and strolling. Nearby shops and restaurants make having a car unnecessary really, but there is much to see and do all over the island. It is quiet and peaceful with friendly people.Unfortunately this particular condo, D214, is in need of some remodeling. The bathroom in particular is very outdated and some of the cabinets are falling apart. Sink and bathtub are stained and way past their prime. It's hard to tell if it's clean or not. There is no dishwasher. The mattress on the pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable.We have stayed at Waiohuli Beach many times over the years, but I would not stay in this unit again.

Waiohuli Beach Hale Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit and the complex is very good. We come here since 33 years regularly once or twice a year for several weeks. However some contact to other owners und ground management is due to historical disputes unpleasant. Repeating guests paying 5K$ to 10K$ per stay should be treated more respectfully. However the rental agency is very polite and correct.
