Birthday getaway

We had a wonderful visit! We really enjoyed the hot tub. The house was lovely. It was wonderful how they provided toys for small children! We all really enjoyed watching the birds eat from the bird feeders that they provided along with the food. We definitely will consider visiting again.

Beautiful Cabin in Quiet Neighborhood

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. As other users have mentioned, the pictures don’t do this place justice. The cabin is quite large but feels homey. I wouldn’t recommend it for a large group but perfect for a family getaway. The upkeep is pretty well and the location is amazing. Our only issue was the rental company. They weren’t of much help during our stay. Additionally, we were overcharged for our stay. After much back and forth, I was told that there was a hidden rental fee by the owner that isn’t listed in the booking. Does that sound legit? Overall we enjoyed our stay but would recommend you thoroughly check your charges.

Amazing the Right Weather!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very happy with the rental and management's response to issues. We rented the unit for three nights over the Christmas holiday, and as luck would have it, it snowed about four feet on us. If there is a downside to this rental, it's the steepness of the driveway. Even with 4-wheel drive, it was nearly impossible to get more than one car in the driveway with significant snow or ice in the driveway. It's just too steep (and awkwardly angled). However, absent that, the house was extremely comfortable, well provisioned, and we had a great time! I would certainly recommend a stay, so long as you know what you're signing up for with the weather!!

Nice place, servise....not so

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, the layout of the cabin is great. The reason for the 3 star review is because of the four dead mice we found behind the door in the laundry room, the mold build up in the master shower and general replacement of items that need to be extra clean or replaced (covers on chairs in dining room are just dirty looking). After reading the previous reviews, I realized the same issues that were there 5-6 years ago still exist. The place can use a handyman to come in and do some basic repairs. To add insult to injury, I forgot my phone charger in the cabin. They wanted $45.00 to ship it back to me.... Customer service can improve. Regardless, we had fun and enjoyed our weekend. But for the price, they can do a little better.

We are sorry that you left your phone charger behind and we really do wish it was a quick an easy task to return lost items, but it does require several steps and costs for each of our homes. This well loved home by many, has been on our program for several years and has had many upgrades throughout this time, with homeowners that adore their mountain cabin and take great pride of ownership. Recent upgrades include - new flooring, paint interior and exterior, new decking, new furniture, renovated fireplace and more. Our mountain Cabins do have a pest control service and we will certainly advise them of the recent pest issue. Again, we are sorry about the phone charger, as this is a common left behind item and tracking these down in every home, packaging and shipping them does come at a cost.

Was the perfect place

This was our 3rd time in Big Bear and we finally found the spot to be. It was so quiet you could hear all the clocks tick. As peaceful as it gets. The property seems well maintained as if the owners often stay themselves. We left it as good if not better when we left. It was just my wife and I celebrating our anniversary in peace. We loved it.

Even Better in Person

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures on the listing definitely didn’t do the cabin justice. It was perfect for our trip. About 15mins away from the store and the kitchen was stocked with most cooking utensils. If it’s snowing during your trip, I highly recommend getting there right at check-in so you don’t have any issues contacting the mgmt office. The driveway is very steep and even with chains my Jeep Patriot struggled to get up the drive. When I got a rep on the phone, she said it was too late for them to send help (at 6PM) and incorrectly suggested I park on the street for the night, which I knew was a big no-no in Big Bear and is especially dangerous. We did have some difficulty in reaching the office on the day of our check out. We were snowed in and had gotten word that the street plow would not arrive until after our check out time. Thankfully we were able get a plow sooner, but mgmt didn’t email us back until 1:30pm. Overall a good stay!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was nice. The cabin was very clean , spacious and comfortable. My only gripe is having to spend at least 10-15 minutes each evening getting rid of all the moths that would somehow enter the property. They were everywhere and as soon as you turned on a light they would swarm all over.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found this cabin to be very nice and CLEAN! We are happy to say that the moths have left Big Bear now! There was a slight issue with moths all throughout Big Bear, during the week of your stay and all of Big Bear was experiencing this issue, but it was quickly over!
