Outlaw Cabin - Newly Renovated, Covered Deck, Tons of Wildlife

Experience a charming mountain retreat in this historic 1920s-built cabin nestled in the Upper Canyon of Ruidoso. Built just 40 years after Billy the Kid roamed the area, this classic rustic cabin boasts timeless bark siding and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Fully renovated inside to 95%, it combines vintage charm with modern comforts-new ceilings, flooring, textured walls, plush mattresses and pillows, and a completely updated kitchen with new countertops, cabinets, and appliances including a gas range (no dishwasher, but a large sink is available).

Relax with Bluetooth-equipped ceiling lamps that fill the space with your favorite tunes, and stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet. The living room features a warm electric fireplace mantle beneath a 65" flat-screen TV with Roku, perfect for streaming your favorites. The main bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a wall-mounted TV, while the second bedroom has a double bed-ideal for a small family or group of friends. Note that the second bedroom is a bit snug.

This cozy yet functional cabin is perfect for a couple with 1-2 kids or 3-4 adults seeking a mountain escape. It includes in-suite laundry, but please be aware these are MINIATURE UNITS intended for only a few articles of clothing at a time.

Enjoy the open-air covered deck with brand-new furniture and a propane BBQ-propane included! Please note some stairs are needed to access the front door. Flood-safe during summer monsoons, the cabin is surrounded by ponderosa pines within the Lincoln National Forest, yet only a 3-4 minute drive to midtown Ruidoso and close to the Rio Ruidoso for outdoor activities. Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. This cabin IS pet friendly. Please note we charge $35 per pet one time per reservation (NOT per night). Please let us know if you are bringing a pet as we will add this to your reservation manually.Ruidoso is a Mountain Town, so please advise caution for weather and wildlife.

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your reservation please review the following policy. An administration fee of $35 will be charged to all cancellations 14 days or more in advance, unless a reschedule has been agreed upon. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in will be charged a 1 night fee including taxes and are subject to all other nights the Cabin or Room is not re-rented. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged in full. Sorry, no refund for early departure. We strongly recommend that you consider purchasing Trip Insurance to protect your investment. Full details can be found on our website.Please note Cancellation policies for Christmas and New Years (Inclusive Dec 20-Jan 5) differ significantly, they will be clearly explained in your rental agreement. UCLC's signed rental agreement will take precedence over any 3rd party booking site policy.
