Tucked into the wooded nature of Elkins, AR, this playful two-bedroom retreat blends comfort and fun — with a king loft bedroom, recliner theatre seating with projection screen, and a downstairs dance floor with disco ball and lights. Compact kitchen with electric cook top and dual mini- fridges. Shared property, but private home with its own entrance.



The Space:

Welcome to the White River Cinema, your wooded retreat in Elkins, Arkansas — a cozy, creative hideaway surrounded by nature and designed for rest and play. Only 12 miles from the University of Arkansas and few miles from Mill Creek and the Ozark National forest.



Inside, you will find:



• A projection screen for movie watching with 6 movie recliners.

• Surround sound system for watching movies in a theatre like environment or listening to your favorite music.

• A wood dance floor with disco ball and night club lights

• A loft-style king bed in the open upstairs master (not enclosed)

• Queen bed in the main-floor bedroom

• Sofa that folds into a twin bed for additional sleeping space

• Front and back porch with beautiful view of the surrounding Ozark Mountains

• Private hiking mountain available in the 14 acre property.



Enjoy movie nights on the projection screen with recliner theatre seating, or dance the night away downstairs beneath the disco ball and the dance floor.



The kitchenette - the house does not include a full size kitchen. We provide a mini-fridge and wine/drink fridge, electric cook top with 2 burners, French door counter top convection oven, microwave, a commercial ice machine, dishwasher, plenty of dinnerware and kitchenware — perfect for simple meals or snacks.



You’ll have the entire home to yourself, though the 14 acre property is shared with the owner's home, and access is via a long gravel driveway behind the main house. Please note that weather conditions may impact the drivability of the driveway, including ice and snow.



This listing is for 4 guests. Two extra guests up to 6 people total are welcome for $25 per night per person for the extra guests. (Please note the bedding arrangements.) No unregistered guests allowed. That means only the number of guests on your reservation are allowed in the house, unless prior approval is given.



Accessibility Note - In order to access the main floor of the home, you will need to climb stairs. There are not ramps accessible.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire house, and all 14 acres.

- The area is framed by the Ozark mountains, where forests, creeks, and wooded terrain are just outside your door — part of what makes Elkins a gateway to scenic trails and streams.

- For trail-goers, you’re within driving distance of walking and hiking routes near Elkins or the National Forest. Bunch Park is nearby and has access to the White River for kayaking and swimming.

-While you feel immersed in the woods, Elkins is just 10 miles from town and close enough to enjoy local amenities, small-town charm, and the convenience of nearby larger towns when needed.

-The long gravel drive and secluded setting give you the peace of a forest retreat.



Other Things to Note:

Events - This goes without saying for most guests, but we have to mention it. You agree that no parties or events, no illegal activity, no carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, or inappropriate anti-social behavior will take place during your stay. If guests are found to have had a party, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges. In the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, or if guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs onsite, the authorities will be notified, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.



Access – Your reservation gives you access to all 14 acres except for the main house.

Long Term Stays - We welcome long-term stays! Please note that for stays longer than 28 nights, a security deposit and additional cleaning fees apply to ensure the home remains in top condition for the duration of your visit. Biweekly cleanings are mandatory.



Deposits - A security deposit is required and is charged in addition to the booking cost. This deposit is refundable upon inspection after your stay.



Crew - If you are booking on behalf of a “crew” or “company,” please let us know in advance and confirm if you will be staying at the property yourself.



Rental Agreement - All bookings require a signature on our standard Rental Agreement, which outlines specific house rules and liability policies. We are happy to provide a copy of this agreement in advance upon request for your review prior to booking.
