Wanderlust House ist ein Ferienhaus (von FromHometoRome verwaltet) neben der Piazza Trilussa, Trastevere, die über den Fluss von der historischen Zentrum von Rom liegt. Sie können über sie von der Geschichte Bücher und Reiseführern, sowohl in italienischer und englischer Sprache, hinter der Eingangstür abgebildet, auf der 2. Etage eines Gebäudes mit Aufzug zu lesen. In dieser Halle können Sie Ihre Mäntel hängen und sitzen an einem Schreibtisch, vor dem sich die erste von 3 Schlafzimmer, einschließlich Stuhl und Sessel, Kleiderschrank, Kommode, Spiegel und zwei Einzelbetten oder einem Doppelbett. Gegenüber der Eingangstür gibt es zwei Türen für das Wohnzimmer, eine für den Ruheraum (zwei Sofas, zwei Sessel, Bücherregale, Italienisch TV), ein weiteres für die Gaststätten (eine Tabelle für 6-8 Personen und einem Sideboard). Das Wohnzimmer enthält auch ein Klavier. Im Flur neben die beiden anderen Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer und die Küche. Letzteres ist komplett ausgestattet und umfasst eine Mikrowelle, einen Wasserkocher, einen Toaster, eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine und einen Tisch für bis zu 4 Personen. Von den zwei Badezimmer, ist einer der am meisten ausgestattet, inklusive Dusche und Bidet, ein weiteres ist kleiner und verfügt über eine Waschmaschine an der Front. Von den beiden anderen Schlafzimmer hat man ein Doppelbett, zwei Nachttische, ein Schrank und ein Schreibtisch; das letzte Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten in Holzbretter, einen Kleiderschrank und einen Nachttisch. Der Gesamteindruck ist der einer hellen und weiten Platz, wo es kann Platz für alle in einer Familie oder einer Gruppe von Freunden, auch wegen der großen Fenster in jedem Zimmer sein.

This apartment was in a great central location of Rome. The plaza next door was busy with street acts, the activity on the river and tons of restaurants provide anyone syltaying here lots of options.

Right in the neighborhood of Trastevere, very lively! Walk to restaurants, Rome, gelato, drinks…! The apartment was very comfortable with all the amenities that you need. I would stay again. The hosts were super helpful and polite.

Great location for exploring Rome

Great property and location. Trastevere is a fun and vibrant neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. And relatively easy walking access to all of the major Rome sites. Highly recommend!!

Great apartment & location

Charming apartment in great location , could be noisy at night but earplugs were provided and used, so we didn’t have any complaints. Elevator was great for my parents and we loved the vintage style of the elevator , building and apartment. Host was very helpful!

My Stay in Rome

This place is the best place to stay in Rome, in my opinion. Centrally located. It seems that every day from dusk till dawn, that is a partying section of town. The apartment was immaculate. Loved the old elevator.

Great place to stay while in Rome

Charming place in a perfect location. Close to so many great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend - we were first timers to Rome and felt like we were in the perfect location to experience everything. Major sites are within walking distance but due to the high temperatures while we were there, we opted for an uber or taxi part of the time which was no problem since we were on a main street. Super easy check in and check out. Great place to stay while in Rome!

Lux living!

Big apartment in a great area. Do note that the neighborhood is really popular with young adults on the weekends. I loved the energy, but it is not for someone who needs quiet. The rooms were great and we loved the living room and kitchen. Very spacious and well decorated.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment is clean and spacious for our family of 6. The washing machine was a plus. It is at the top of the Trastervere neighborhood, which is lively in the evening. We found the air conditioning helped drown out the noise. The neighborhood has some of the best restaurants and is so beautiful with its winding streets.

Loved it!

Location is excellent. It can get alittle noisy at night but we loved the location so didn’t bother us. Apt is so spacious and bright. You are in the heart of it all! Myself, husband and 4 adult children occupied the apt. Walk ability excellent to both the Vatican and coliseum. Highly recommend it!

Safe and comfortable apartment in a great location

We really enjoyed this apartment. The hosts were super responsive and gave us lots of information about the place as well as extensive guides about Rome. The apartment was very comfortable and the decor was unusual - and lovely. One of our group really enjoyed playing the piano! The lighting was beautiful. We really liked the neighborhood but it was quite noisy in the evenings.

Wonderful apartment

This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. The place is spacious, surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink. And it's very easy to walk to the Vatican or cross the river and reach the ancient historic sites. My family and I loved our time here very much. An airport pickup and drop off was very easily organized, and there is a great info book at the flat that lists great cafes and pizzerias, how to purchase bus tickets, where to catch the bus, opening hours of major sites, etc. Very helpful. One thing, if you have any trouble with noise, it really is noisy late into the night, at least it was during the week leading up to Easter when we visited.

Charming stay in Rome

Travestere is a great neighborhood to stay in while Rome. It’s a charming area filled with restaurants and bars. I agree with a previous reviewer that it can be noisy at night, but this wasn’t an issue for my family. Overall, the location was convenient for us to travel to other tourist attractions. Communication with the host was a breeze and we appreciated their timely responses to our questions and concerns. The AC in the apartment was definitely a major bonus given the hot summer temperatures! Since it was so hot during our stay, we were glad there was a washer in the apartment (especially since we were only traveling with a carryon). It ensured our clothing remained clean for our next stop during our trip. Loved the interior of the apartment too! Looks exactly like the pictures. We would choose to stay here again if we returned to Rome.

Super location, shabby apartment

The buzzy Trestavere location is great, the host/management company were helpful (via text) and friendly. However their eclectic-looking apartment is rundown and uncomfortable. Rome is a wonderful city to explore - you'll walk a lot. But the sofa, chairs and beds in this apartment are completely beaten up and offer zero comfort at the end of your day. The showers are falling to pieces and need overhauling, the toilets give off a foul smell, and we lost all electrical power 5 times (during a 4 days stay) requiring a visit to the dark basement to flip the mains back on (apparently you can't run the AC and more than one electrical device at a time!) With some serious updating this apartment could be wonderful - as it stands, it's pretty dismal.

Spacious great location!

Communication with the host was excellent! The apartment was very spacious. We loved our stay here. The apartment could definitely use some better chairs and sofas. They were a bit shabby worn out and stained. The dining chairs were mostly ran down with broken legs and or arms. We knew this prior from other reviews. Otherwise our stay was great. Very active area…kinda loud at night we loved it! Enjoyed Being able to walk around the corner to find dinner and drinks.Lots of nice little shops.
