Der Strand und zwei Pools am Meer auf dem Grand Pavilion Boardwalk liegen nur wenige Schritte vom 56 Grand Pavilion entfernt. Neben dem Strand und den Pools erreichen Sie innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß fünf Restaurants, eine Eisdiele, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ein Day Spa, einen Fitnessraum, einen Golfplatz, ein Schwimmzentrum, ein Tenniszentrum und einen Kinderspielplatz. Spring Stay

The house was lovely and the location was great! The kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of linens. Unfortunately the upstairs air conditioning didn’t work and it locked us out 5 minutes before our stay was over. It was fine for us, but could have been frustrating for someone else had they left something behind.

Family getaway

The location of this home is perfect. Short walk to the beach and pool with a great view from the porch. Everything we needed was there. My only suggestion would be in regard to the living room seating. It worked for us because we were 4 adults and 3 small children (5,3, 8 months). However, it would have been inadequate for more adults and teenagers. Just not enough seating for bigger people. We had a wonderful time and as long as my grandchildren are little, we would definitely consider returning to this home.

The property was great. But TV remote never worked properly . The air conditioning on the upper level of the house also did not cool the upstairs. Could have had more information on what properties we had access to. Kind of confusing in the wild dunes

Thank you for the review and we did take your comments and make these issues better quickly after your departure. The remote control was replaced and we did find a recurring issue with the HVAC that was fully serviced which alleviated the issue about two weeks later. We hoped the portables were able to keep the upstairs cool along with the working units downstairs. Hope to see you soon.

Wild Dunes resort is great.

The house was nice and big enough for 10. Problems with the Viking oven. Too low on the floor even for someone that is short. 5ft. Dishwasher did not work well. Dishes were put away with food still on them. Oven temp needs to be checked for accuracy. Nothing like trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner for ten with those issues.

This is terrific property where the property owner is constantly making improvements to enhance the enjoyment of vacationing families as well as their own family who is often visiting the beach home. The unique design of the home, proximity to the beach, ocean views, and the great care the property takes to maintain the home, makes it a very popular destination. In fact, just this year the property owner installed all new doors to the deck increasing the size to go nearly from floor to ceiling as well as purchasing all new living room furniture. It is so disappointing that your family had challenges during your stay. I would like to apologize for the difficulties that you experienced with the kitchen appliances. I feel strongly that any negative experience our guests encounter is unacceptable; not only to me, but also to our entire Team, and guest feedback is always appreciated and taken very seriously. Thank you for your note regarding the dishwasher and Viking Gas Stove and Oven. Viking is one of the most expensive appliance brands available. It is disappointing that such an expensive appliance that is featured in the finest homes could have caused your family difficulties during Thanksgiving. We asked a professional Viking service technician to investigate and it appears it is operating correctly at this time. Thank you for sharing with us your concerns regarding the temperature of the oven as well as operation of the dishwasher. Thank you again for your patience and we apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced. We hope you do return to property 4960567. It is a wonderful destination and one of the finest homes in the Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes Resort.

Exceeded expectations

I expected this property to be a great fit for our family, and it even went beyond those hopes. The location is phenomenal, steps from the beach/pool, and a short walk from other pools and food options. The property was clean/spacious, and offered privacy for everyone who stayed. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone in a similar situation.

You know when you see that really good-looking person who ends up being horrible… yeah

Let Me start with the positives: Location!! Kitchen fairly well stocked Beautifully decorated No Cockroaches!! Unfortunately, the negative outweighed these positives by a lot. First off- after phone calls- email- and requests to Hear from a manager, we NEVER got a return message. One thing we called about got somewhat fixed, but if this was school, I would give it a solid C-. That’s it. Horrible service from the managing companyThe list of things wrong or broken is below- it’s not exhaustive, but it’s all I care to break down. The fact that our vacation in what should have been a stress-free house had to be overshadowed by these things without being resolved is beyond disappointing. So here we go: When we got there the garage cans were so raunchy smelling. They had leaked all over the gross concrete in the garage and one was without a lid and appeared to have a combination of fish and baby diapers in it. It seemed like it had to be a joke and maybe we were on a candid camera show? Nope. The smell every time we got into or out of our house ( we had to pass that area) was beyond repulsive. While we are starting from the basement level on complaints, the door to the beach wouldn’t close or lock so it was wide open to the world and was a safety concern for us and our vehicles. Oh On that “front, the front door which had the code to get in never closed all the way so our house was always wide open and didn’t lock. It looked like someone tried to fix that- and the random sliding doors that wouldn’t open or close without a Herculean effort, but that fix was more like a D- The cleanliness... There was hair in some of the bathroom corners and the hallway vent outside the kitchen hadn’t been dusted or cleaned since 2018. Some of the tvs wouldn’t work- the first floor shower door was completely off the hinges And a hazard- along with the door to that bathroom unable to be locked. The dryer took about 3 hours to dry clothing- the upstairs beautiful deck off the master had a wasps nest in the corner that made it hard to sit outside.This could have been a Wonderful house and experience, but the management of it prevented that. So- to summarize- no help when we requested it in 3 different forms- cleanliness nowhere near where it should have been and that’s being kind- and overall we love IOP but would never recommend a house managed by beachside vacations. Don’t waste your money on this one!

Beautiful modern home, quick beach and pool access, gorgeous views

This house is gorgeous. Interior is best described as a West Elm Showroom. Modern kitchen and furniture providing you with everything you will need for a great vacation. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is awesome. There is a balcony on the 1st and second floor with great views of the beach. Very short walk to the beach and the pool. Kitchen table is long and seats 8 which was great for meals and games. We had a great experience with the rental company. They were easy to contact and quick to resolve any issues. This was a great place for our family to get together and spend a great vacation! This is an excellent rental!!!

Beautiful home!

This was a great home for our family of 5 and there would certainly be room for more. The home looks newly renovated and is beautifully appointed. I especially appreciated all of the new cookware. I love to cook even on vacation and this kitchen was the best equipped that we've seen in a while. The beds and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Piece of Property

Just a lovely place to stay. Really enjoyed the stay and the amenities that came along with the rental. Superb location and easy to get to. Walk right to the beach within minutes. Within distances from grocery stores, coffee, and other shopping centers. Only 25-30 minutes from Charleston, SC, Property was accurately listed. Other great things to think of is the ability to order a few groceries online and have them delivered to the house a few hours before even getting there. First time going to South Carolina which was for a destination wedding. My partner and I will definitely be going to SC again and this will be the place we choose to stay again. Thank you! 😊

Great house, perfect location!

We have stayed in WIld Dunes for 22 years and this house is one of the best! The location is perfect, you get ocean views from 2 balconies! The house is spacious, the decor is really great, the conveniences are perfect! Kids even used the ping pong table so that was a bonus! Great stay!

Location

The location is perfect as you're near the pools and the beach and have a nice area to play frisbee, cornhole, CanJam, or whatever other game you want to play in the grassy area. The home is nicely appointed, but we did find it odd that the Owner's suite was on the second floor and the small guest suite was on the main floor. Not an issue, just something to note if you're bringing teens and want them to have rooms on the same floor, someone will be left out as the other rooms are all on the second floor. The dishwasher is a little finicky as it will start when you close it no matter what buttons are pushed/not pushed. Again, not a big deal, just be aware to not close it all the way until you're ready to do the dishes.

Great property

Short walk to Beach and Wild Dunes amenities. Very clean, nicely decorated and stocked with the necessities. Loved that there was a bathroom for every bedroom. Comfortable Beds!

Perfect house if attending beach/North lawn wedding and reception

Amazing Family Beach Trip

Amazing surf, SUP and skim board location especially given the small hurricane that brushed past us! The pictures of the house and grounds don't do justice to what a wonderful setup they have in place. Extremely private and incredibly convenient to walk out of the back of the garage to get to the beach. The house is second row, but has wonderful unobstructed views from the deck of the surf and grounds. Felt like the beach equivalent of ski in ski out. Thanks for very memorable Covid escape and vacation!

Vacation

It was a great property and worked well for our family of 6 adults and two children. The location was perfect. Easy walk to the pool and beach even for toddlers. Unfortunately, hurricane Florence cut our visit short by 3 nights. Looking forward to going back.
