Sand und Surfen ist nur ein Haus entfernt, und der Strand Weg ist ideal direkt gegenüber dem Ende der Auffahrt positioniert. Innerhalb von zwei Minuten können Sie in Ihrem Strandkorb Platz nehmen, während die Kinder die Wellen schlagen. Pool is a nice size though the weather was a bit cool this year for the unheated pool. Ample chairs around the pool area. New(er) gas grill was a nice improvement. Lots of spaces inside to relax. Kitchen well stocked. Dishwasher mediocre so ran it on pots and pans. Very good washer and dryer. Beds were firm with bedspreads but no blankets but host dropped off a blanket when it was requested. 3 beach towels not sure why only 3. Easily short walk to the beach.

Appreciate you taking the time to lay all of this out — the detail genuinely helps. Glad the pool size, the seating, and the newer gas grill all worked well, and that the kitchen and laundry held up to everyday use. The cooler weather and that unheated pool can be a tricky combination this time of year, so we understand the timing wasn't ideal there. The notes on the dishwasher, the blankets, and the towel count are all fair, and they're the kind of thing we want to get right. We're glad our team could get a blanket over to you quickly, but we'll take a closer look at stocking blankets from the start and bumping up the beach towel count so nobody's left guessing. Thanks for flagging the dishwasher too. We'd love to host you again, ideally on a warmer stretch when that pool is working in your favor.

Large Family Getaway with Great Location

Loved the location of this house, being in Wild Dunes with beach access across the street. The home was large, with good sized rooms for all to spread out. Our only disappointment was that some updates were needed. The kitchen was well stocked, but the the cabinets were low end, and white appliances needed changing. The pool was quite large, and there were plenty of seating areas around.

The house was very nice and well appointed. it feels like you are hidden away with all the trees and bushes when you are really surrounded by neighbors that you can't see. the only negative i have is the decks off the 2 front bedrooms are in desperate need of replacement, the floors are a splinter hazard as are the nails which are sticking up and the paint is chipping away. the kids loved the pool and short walk to the beach. i would definitely recommend this house.

You will love this house!

This house was great! Two families stayed together (8 people) and we had plenty of space. I was a bit concerned that the house would not be as advertised because although the calendar looks like it had been steadily rented there weren't any current reviews.......no reason for concern! The house is perfect for a great beach vacation, with all you will need including books and board games, just in case! The beach is literally out the door across the cul-de-sac and down the path. Maybe a 3 minute walk and your toes are in the sand. Older kids can make this trip back and forth alone without a problem. The beach is beautiful! The pool is an added bonus! We had a small maintenance issue one day but the property manager had the repairman there and the problem was quickly resolved. It's a short drive to Charleston to see the sights, the aquarium is a must! If you're a history buff then head to Patriots Point for a trip to Ft. Sumter and the USS Yorktown.

Great Getaway!

Property was lovely and very close to the beach. With two young ones it was so easy to run back to the house if we forgot something. The pool was very nice, and we LOVED the table that was in it. We spent many evenings enjoying the water while snacking. House was very spacious with plenty of room for groups to hang out together. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this house to anyone with kids!

Wonderful family trip to Wild Dunes!

Absolutely loved the pool. Spent so many hours in it I fully expected to grow a mermaid’s tail. I wish they had a handrail on the pool steps. Getting in and out was unnerving for me as my balance isn’t always secure. The house is by far the nicest we have ever rented and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first floor could use some updating but no big deal. It was great having 3 -1/2 baths. The rooms are large and spacious and feel so luxurious. Landscaping was lovely and made the house feel very private even though beach houses are in close proximity. There is a good deal of new construction in Wild Dunes and the constant hammering and sawing along with the loud stereos of the carpenters was annoying but hardly the fault of the homeowner. The resort was extremely well kept. Having a grocery store nearby was so helpful. Our family would love to return another year.

Week in spacious beach home with pool

Our 2 families had a great time at the house and loved our time by the pool! The kitchen was very well equipped. The homes atmosphere was welcoming and fresh. There was very short walk to the beach and a 10-min walk to the wild dunes pavilion.

We have been staying at WD IoP every year for 6 years now. Family of 4 w 2 under 6 and another family of 4 with 2 under 8. So we look for a pool and close beach vicinity. As is normally the case with this particular management, check in was a breeze and the property was well maintained and ready to go. This one is close to the beach, all WD facilities, clean, and a great value. Cannot go wrong with this location, price, or management company.

Great vacation home for the whole family!

Our extended family recently rented this home through Beachside Vacation Rental Company. They were very easy to work with and booked online. They touched based midweek to make sure everything was going well. We got a lot of great use out of the saline pool-fairly shallow so nice for younger children-and the deck around the pool. The home sits on a quiet street with two beach access points, both don't require steps to the beach. With the recent beach refurbishment there is a lot of sand and you don't have to worry about losing your beach at high tide. The layout was nice for having more than one family in the house. Would recommend this rental for families looking for a home within Wild Dunes, close to the beach and wants a pool.

The property was great; enjoyed the space; never really feeling crowded.

Loved the pool, and proximity to the beach. Rooms spacious and very inviting. Wasn't lacking with anything in the kitchen! Very clean when we arrived. Will return.

Great home for 2 families. Awesome location to the beach. Pool was fantastic!

Outstanding home! We had 2 families and it worked out great. Awesome location. Less than a 2 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of room in the house and with a nice Southern Charm in the design of the house, it was hard not to relax!

Great House - Loved the Pool

The house was fantastic. Our three year old loved having the option of beach or pool and we spent mornings at one and afternoons at the other. The house had plenty of space for our in-laws to stay in the second master without feeling crowded. It rained a few days during our stay and there was plenty of room to stay inside and do puzzles and other activities while we waited for the rain to pass. We will definitely come back to stay in this house again.

Spacious and perfect for our two families with young kids, great location by the beach.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house is very spacious, with lots of different areas to enjoy time together or find your own space. We spent most of our time at the beach in front of the house or by the pool for lunch and in the afternoon. The house is well equipped, kid friendly and had all that we needed. Only negative was sound proofing between floors, voices and steps could be heard from the top floor to the first floor. But otherwise very pleasant stay, we would absolutely come back.

Fabulous stay, so close to beach, great pool!

Great property and location! Right across the street from beach access path. Great main level with several areas for 2 families to eat and relax. Well stocked kitchen. Nice pool, BBQ grill, porches. Kids rode bikes to/from resort.

So very close to the beach!

This house is the next best thing to "oceanfront" and in fact it is actually closer to the beach than many houses listed as "ocean view." A wonderful location! The pool (and the pool deck) is one of the largest ones I have seen for a private home.

Perfect combination of comfort, location, and style

My two girls (12 and 14) and I spent a long Easter weekend at this wonderful, warm home. So easy to pop over to the beach for a long morning or sunset walk, and then come back home to all the creature comforts you could ask for. The pool is WONDERFUL - but what we also really liked is that the house isn't a typical "rental" property - it's got such high quality furnishings and décor that it felt more like a resort accommodation than just a rental house near the beach. And plenty of room so that everyone (plus some friends who joined us) could spend time together and then have their own private space again. We can't wait to go back.

Perfect vacation home!

This home is the perfect vacation spot! The house is large and very open. Plenty of room for a group of friends or a family gathering. Just a short walk to the beach or a few steps to your own private pool. We also loved the proximity to Charleston. We will definitely stay here again!
