Escape to your own private retreat in Walnut Creek — a peaceful hideaway surrounded by towering redwood and oak trees that make you feel like you’re in the forest, yet just minutes from BART and major Bay Area cities. This cozy, nature-inspired space offers privacy with its own entrance, parking spot, washer and dryer, and outdoor BBQ area.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine in your private outdoor seating area, or unwind by the inviting fire pit under the trees.
The space
Welcome to your private one-bedroom ADU.

After entering the gate, follow the garden path to the back of the property, where your secluded space awaits. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. The kitchen includes two convection stove tops, an air fryer oven, microwave, pots, pans, cooking essentials, and a Brita water jug in the fridge.

The cozy living area features a comfortable sofa bed, perfect for relaxing or accommodating an additional guest. You’ll also find a pull-up table for dining or remote work, along with a shoe hamper to help keep things neat. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and a clothes hamper for your convenience. In the bedroom, closets on both sides of the bed provide hangers, soft pull-out drawers, and extra space above for luggage storage.

Step outside to enjoy two peaceful seating areas surrounded by trees and soft night lighting. The first, directly behind the ADU, is private and quiet — perfect for grilling on the BBQ or doing laundry. The second features comfortable seating around the fire pit, ideal for relaxing with a drink or stargazing under the trees.

We hope you’ll feel right at home — a calm, comfortable retreat designed for rest, connection, and a touch of nature.
Guest access
You’ll also have access to the lower area of the backyard. While we occasionally use the play structure, we’re happy to adjust our schedule to ensure your privacy and keep noise to a minimum during your stay.
