Das Placid Chalet verfügt über drei Etagen, die Komfort und Raum für Ihren Lake Placid Genuss bieten. Placid Chalet ist einzigartig mit seinem Chalet-Stil mit zwei Balkonen. Diese Balkone sind großartige Verstecke für eine Tasse Kaffee oder eine Leseecke.

Das Placid Chalet verfügt auch über ein großes angeschlossenes Deck, das mit dem Hauptwohnzimmer verbunden ist und einen herrlichen Blick auf den Wald und gemütliche Möbel bietet. Es erweitert den Lebensraum stark.

Es hat auch eine Bodenebene. Die überdachte Terrasse bietet zusätzliche Unterhaltung im Freien und Grillplatz, besonders an Regentagen. Drei Ebenen bieten jedem Raum, den er braucht und genießt.

Wir sind weniger als eine Viertel Meile zum nächsten Restaurant und .4 Meilen zum Kino. Zu Fuß in die Stadt ist so nah, schnell und angenehm. Der Jack Rabbit Trail befindet sich hinter dem Haus zur Erkundung.

Dieses Haus bietet unvergleichliche Privatsphäre auf einem Grundstück von einem Hektar - etwas, das man selten in anderen Dorfhäusern findet. Es gibt viel Parkplätze auf einer hufeisenförmigen Auffahrt mit zusätzlichen Parkplätzen. Wenn Sie ein Boot oder einen Anhänger haben, können Sie so einfach parken.

Das gesamte Haus hat ADK-Flair innen und außen mit einzigartigen Adirondack Kunst und Einrichtung. Das Beste ist, es ist ein kurzer Spaziergang (0,4 m) zu allem, was Main Street Lake Placid bietet. Darüber hinaus sind die meisten Möbel, Betten, Bettwäsche, etc. neu! Sie werden das in den meisten Mietwohnungen nicht finden!

Es gibt ein Stand Up Paddle Board für Ihren Gebrauch. Es muss mit SUV / LKW zu Wasser transportiert werden. Zwei kostenlose Lake Placid Bootstarts sind so nah mit ausreichend Parkplätzen. Mirror Lake hat auch einen einfachen Start am öffentlichen Strand. Um sie benutzen zu können, müssen alle Personen immer ein Schwimmgerät (Schwimmweste) tragen. Paddel und Rettungswesten sind vorhanden.

Ich weiß, du wirst es lieben! Ich denke, es gibt keinen besseren Ort im Dorf zu bleiben!

We had a fabulous stay in the beautiful Placid Chalet. Everything we needed was there. Cathy went above and beyond to make our stay warm and welcoming, and communicated with us throughout our stay. The chalet was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The location is great with a 5 minute drive to town and 15 minute drive to White Face. We would happily stay again for our next trip to Lake Placid.

Very nice property

The property was very nice, relatively close to town and other attractions. It was very spacious and could have handled another family in addition to ours. The owner was very good at communicating and the check in/out was seemless. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Location

Second time staying here. Everything was perfect just like the last time. We love the location being close to Main Street but still having a private yard. The house is very clean, comfortable, and inviting. Love it here!

Fourth of July Festivities

This house is lovely and well equipped. We appreciated the clealiness and comfort of the home. The owners were accessible and very helpful with answering questions both before and during the vacation. Best of all was the quiet woodsy settiing, still walking distance to town but feeling quite remote as you sit on the porch and look into the woods or toast marshmallows in the fire pit. 10 out of 10!

Adorable home, so clean, close to Main St!!

We had 3 adult couples staying here. The home is super cute with great attention to detail! Incredibly clean, very spacious…we come to LP often and will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips. The host was also incredibly kind and accommodating! A nice walk to Main St puts you right in the action but with plenty of peaceful privacy at the house!

Perfect Chrismas week vacation

This property has everything, including 5 pairs of snowshoes, which were put to good use on the Jack Rabbit Trail! The house was nicely decorated for Christmas, immaculate, well organized, cozy, convenient, and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were also very comfortable. It was a perfect size for our group of ten. Looking forward to a return trip here for a Lake Placid summer experience in the future!

Get treated like royalty at the Placid Chalet

They say love is in the details and that is exactly what awaits you at the Placid Chalet. From nice sheets & exceptionally clean showers and bathrooms to a well appointed kitchen & patios and decks with everything you need to relax outdoors- no detail was overlooked. The Placid Chalet has fun decor from the Adirondack area and Olympic highlights. We had 8 in our party and had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay. We can’t wait to come back!!

Judy and guests were fantastic! When I walked in, it was the way I left it! They took great care of the home and also were super communicators. Great holiday weekend stay!

We are frequent visitors to Lake Placid and our time at the Chalet could not have been any better! The outside was perfect with multiple levels to hang out, including a fire pit. The decks provide great views, the colors are great this time of year. The inside worked very well for playing games with plenty of space for us 4 adults, 5 kids). The house was also well stocked with anything we needed for cooking. Cathy is great to communicate with, she made everything so easy. Highly recommend!

Annual ski trip

This was an amazing house! Everything about it was easy from check in to cleanliness to distance to the mountain. It is definitely a nice walk into town in the Spring summer and fall. The house was decorated beautifully and gave us that Adirondack feel. Loved the lights outside and all the décor inside. Got a great welcome basket and very helpful binder with hints as well as a great review of all the restaurants in the area. Thank you for such a great stay. We definitely want to come back. We have never been there any time beside the Winter but would love to come when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lakes and beautiful setting. 5 stars!!!

Amazing Getaway

Some friends from college and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and to celebrate my birthday. I have to say the weekend was amazing. The house was even bigger than what I expected from the pictures. There was plenty of common hang out spaces, while also giving everyone their own personal space as well. The location was also great. Easy to find and very close to the hustle and bustle of main street, but felt secluded enough that we had our own private space and weren't on top of neighbors. The house came with everything we needed for the weekend. The only downside was that our schedules didn't allow us to stay longer. Will definitely be back to Placid and hope to stay here again upon my return.

Lake placid stay 2022

The place was clean, comfortable and great for our needs. Unfortunately the high humidity was unforeseen for the area as we suffered a few nights of restless sleep in high room temperatures. We left the place as we found it and followed the closing instructions to a T. Home owner presented us with a nice welcoming basket of goods with a handwritten card wishing us a nice stay.

Large House great outdoor Spaces

The house was great. Large open kitchen, living room and dinning room area. Makes it easy to talk and mingle with people. The lower level is a great place to hang out outside and play games. Ironman week stay

The property was clean, spacious and provided enough room for larger groups while allowing for privacy when needed. The house was welcoming and we were able to find whatever we needed especially with regard to the kitchen. The location was perfect to walk to Main Street, and I would definitely stay again if I had the occasion to be in Lake Placid!

We had a wonderful time at the Placid Chalet! The house was beautiful and immaculate. We spent a lot of time on on the deck and it was delightful. The location was great. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a place to stay in Lake Placid.

Enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at Placid Chalet. The house was spacious and welcoming from the time you walked through the door. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the welcome gift basket was so appreciated.. Both kids and adults enjoyed the trail behind the house. Would definitely rent this home again!

Amazing

House was extremely beautiful and clean it was such a great time and the host Cathy was super nice and helpful I couldn’t be happier with the stay!

I have always loved Lake Placid. It was always the place I would take vacations and short weekend trips with the family since 1980’s. Here I fell in love with Lake Placid’s European-like charm and small town friendliness. Not to mention, endless year round activities here in Lake Placid make this a four season playground!

I recently purchased this home and can not live permanently there yet, so until I do I would like to share my home and love of Lake Placid with others!

This home has much character and Adirondack charm from the beamed ceilings and gorgeous bedroom balconies. It has great open space inside for friendly gathering. But also, additional space to have privacy. The yard provides much space to play and explore. Best yet, it is a quick walk to the busy Main Street. If you are looking for a Lake Placid- Adirondack experience- you should check out Placid Chalet!

It is located on an acre of land which gives the home great privacy in the village. The neighbors are well secluded from us unlike most village homes.
