Unsere rustikale Brookside-Hütte mit ihrem Charme der alten Welt besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit wunderschönem Adirondack-Dekor und Kingsize-Bett grenzt an ein riesiges Hauptbadezimmer, Kathedralendecken, Badewanne mit Blick auf den Bach, freistehende Dusche und antike Möbelstücke. Neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer befindet sich eine charmante Bibliothek mit Blick auf farbenfrohe Blumen im Frühling / Sommer und Weihnachtsbäume im Winter. Eine Ausziehcouch für 2 Personen ... Das zweite Schlafzimmer besteht aus 2 Queensize-Betten. Angrenzend befindet sich ein weiteres Badezimmer, das komplett renoviert wurde und hohe Decken, eine große Dusche und antike Möbel aufweist. Komplette Küche mit gewölbten Kieferndecken. * Gerade renoviert. Keine Kühlung unter der Theke. Quarz-Theke. Modernste Geräte mit herrlichem Blick auf den Bach. ** Das dritte Badezimmer befindet sich neben der Küche mit Vollbadausstattung. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls neben der Küche. Der Speisesaal bietet einen uneingeschränkten Blick auf den Bach durch Wand-zu-Wand-Fenster, Kathedralendecken mit Kiefern- und Rindenholz und einen 1,80 m langen antiken Tisch, an dem Sie in Brookside speisen können. Das Great Room ist ein charmanter, gemütlicher, romantischer und entspannender Ort mit einem großen Steinkamin, einer Samtsofa, indischen Decken und bequemen Stühlen. Die riesige Terrasse mit Blick auf den Whiteface Mountain und den Lake Placid ist teilweise abgeschirmt und ein gemütlicher Ort, an dem Sie bei jedem Wetter Geräusche des plätschernden Baches und die malerische Aussicht genießen können. From the moment we walked in, the Brookside Cabin was warm, welcoming, and cozy. We instantly relaxed and settled in. This is the most charming, cozy, well equipped home. This was our 3rd time staying at Brookside. We keep coming back because of this. The host is so welcoming and will get right on any detail that may seem off. It's proximity to all the venues one might want to do in Lake Placid is perfect.

We had a great stay at the Brookside Cabin this past weekend. The cabin was beautiful and made for a perfectly wintry getaway, especially with the fireplace keeping that cozy winter vibe. Everything was very clean, and the entire complex was quiet, well maintained, and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to Main Street in Lake Placid. Check in was super smooth and easy. If you’re considering a trip to Lake Placid, I would definitely recommend staying at Brookside Cabin.

Our Thanksgiving stay at Cheryl’s beautiful Brookside Cabin was absolutely wonderful. The cozy vibe and peaceful setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Although her place looks lovely in the pictures, they do not do it justice. It’s even more lovely in person! It’s very clean, well appointed and well stocked. We hope to visit again!

There are not enough words to explain how wonderful this experience was- but my 11 year old summed it up by day 2 on our stay and said "mom, it feels like home". This is our 3rd stay at Brookside and it won't be our last! Spotless always, lighting in each room is adjustable and lots of them - heat in all rooms adjustable, kitchen has everything you need. Fireplace burns wood and there is plenty of it! Soaking tub in master bath with a view of the brook. TV in both bedrooms. Library with chairs and blankets perfect for reading or napping! Washer dryer too-so we packed a bit lighter this time :) Good memories were made!

This cabin was a very short walk to a beautiful lake and just a few minutes drive from all that downtown Lake Placid has to offer. We loved the spacious rooms and aesthetics; everything was beautiful and well appointed. Nothing better than a cozy fire in the evening followed by a bubble bath in the large tub. Plenty of space for four, and we enjoyed how quickly we could get to all the hiking spots in and around Lake Placid. Would definitely stay here again, and give this place two big thumbs up.

What a great trip we had in Lake Placid. The house was great and the location was beautiful. Very close to the lake with a nice front deck and covered porch at the front as well. It was also just a few minutes from town and stores. Very short walk to a marina for boat tours and kayaking and small swimming area at the lake. HIGHLY recommend!

Beautiful house! Just as pictured, spacious and bright, we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is perfect, large enough and well stocked for cooking meals or perfect just for quick coffee and breakfast. Very close to several grocery/specialty food stores. Great location in Lake Placid region for all the outdoor activities, and close to the town of Lake Placid for restaurants and shopping. We had dinner one night at the Moose Lodge Boat House, super convenient 2-minute walk, spectacular view of the lake and mountains.
