Spanning 30+ private acres, this waterfront retreat sleeps 14 across 3 buildings. The main house features a renovated open kitchen, dining, and living space with a fireplace, sunroom, and primary suite with an en suite bath. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms sleep 6 and in the basement a gym and living area. The 1960s boathouse has a cozy living area, sleeping for 2 and waterfront deck. The sleeper cottage sits at the water’s edge for a secluded stay. Enjoy nature, privacy, and stunning pond views.

Where privacy meets uniqueness, the Snyder Pond Boathouse offers an unforgettable retreat with accommodations for up to 14 guests across three buildings on 30+ acres of stunning waterfront land.

Just minutes from the Town of Copake, Hillsdale and Copake Lake including attractions like Copake Country Club, boat rentals at Mickeys Marina, skiing at Catamount and walking or hiking at Bash Bish Falls and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail.

Less than 30 minutes from Hudson and Millerton, as well as Great Barrington MA where you can shop, dine, and explore local artists and more. Uber and car services can be spotty, driving is recommended but Hudson Amtrak and Wassaic Metro North are both 30 minutes.

The main house features a newly renovated main floor with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, complete with an oversized sectional couch, indoor fireplace, TV, and a sunroom. A half bath serves guests, while the primary bedroom offers a private ensuite with a spacious shower and a vessel bathtub. Upstairs, two cozy bedrooms sleep six and share a full bathroom.

Follow the path to the 1960s boathouse, where a charming living space, desk, woodburning stove, and sleeping area for two await. Relax on the waterfront balcony or floating deck, taking in breathtaking pond views or even paddling out on one of our watercrafts.

Down the walking trail, discover our cozy cottage, a hideaway at the water’s edge featuring a small living space and private bedroom equipped with a couch, tv, and mini fridge.

Whether you`re seeking a peaceful escape or an adventure-filled getaway, the Snyder Pond Boathouse is the perfect destination.

Please Note: The main house is easily accessible from the parking area and has 2.5 bathrooms, however, the boat house and cottage are not equipped with bathrooms and both area harder to access; the boat house via a short walk and large outdoor staircase, and the cottage a short walk along a walking trail. Please plan accordingly for sleeping arrangements.

Outages can happen in this area due to weather or other factors. Because they are out of our control, we do not provide refunds for these interruptions, but we’ll do our best to help you work around them.

-Weather:
Rain, wind, snow and extreme heat and humidity are possible depending on the season. Please plan your travel accordingly, as we cannot refund missed stays due to weather conditions preventing travel. In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.
