Das Heydons House ist ein liebevoll gepflegtes, hochwertiges Ferienhaus in beneidenswerter Lage im Herzen von Sidmouth.
Das Schöne am Heyons House ist, dass es sich in einer ruhigen Gegend befindet und dennoch nur 3 Gehminuten von der Küste und dem Stadtzentrum entfernt ist. Es liegt versteckt am Ende einer ruhigen Durchgangsstraße, aber alles, was Sie möglicherweise brauchen, ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wichtig ist, dass es über eine integrierte Garage einen eigenen Parkplatz bietet.

Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und vielseitig, da sie durchgehend zu einem sehr hohen Standard eingerichtet ist. Es gibt 3 Hauptschlafzimmer, aber auch ein viertes Zimmer neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer, das im Wesentlichen ein Ankleidezimmer ist, aber ein Einzelbett (mit weiterem Auszug) hat, sodass es als viertes Einzel- oder Zweibettzimmer genutzt werden kann.
Die Aufteilung des Hauses eignet sich auch für Paare, die ein wenig mehr Platz und Qualität bevorzugen.
Ein echtes Merkmal des Hauses ist die große, rustikale Küche mit Aga. Von hier führen Terrassentüren zum privaten und sonnigen Innenhof.

Perfect Stay

Everything was great It was the most beautiful weather and lots going on in Sidmouth . We have family living in Sidmouth and so we enjoyed a 60th birthday party with them it was such a happy time for us . Magical and a really comfortable home to stay in Thsnks all round

Thank you for the review.and for being a great guest. I know from speaking to you what a lovely time you had. I get my (modern) BMW in the garage. Its not the size of the garage its the narrowness of the lane that makes it slightly awkward. I do understand it isn't easy but it most definitely can be done. Alternatively there is free parking on nearby side roads. It is worth mentioning that once parked, as the location of the cottage is so good, unless you are going out of Sidmouth, you won't need to use the car at all!

Location, location, location

Lovely, well-equipped cottage, located in the beautiful seaside town, Sidmouth. Just a three-minute walk to the beach - brilliant for an early morning or end-of-the-day swim. The town centre (2 minutes walk) also has lots to offer. We parked easily on nearby steeets, for free everyday. I look forward to staying here again.

A lovely cottage. Very clean, spacious with a ‘good’ vibe’. Everything we required, was there. In a beautiful quiet area, but very close to everything we wanted. A few back and forths to reverse our small car into the garage, but a lot easier to drive out.

In such a good position, close to beach and shops. Only downside was the parking, the car needs to be small to fit in the garage. The garden needs some work as nowhere to relaxe outside which is a pity as it was a sun trap and out of the wind.

Lovely house in a great location

We were on holiday with my son his wife and their 3 kids. We couldn't fault the accommodation , it certainly met all our needs. The property was Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen, 3 loos ,2 bathrooms, very good wifi . Nice courtyard garden. Great location for the town and the beach and good service from Jon in terms of checking in help etc. I would certainly stay here again if we return to Sidmouth

Lovely little cottage close to all amenities. Lovely little gifts waiting on arrival. Manager on hand if needed. One little negative, pillows were very flat. That maybe a personal preference. I would book again.

Wonderful

We spent a wonderful week at Heydons House and even though it was near the end of September the weather was glorious. The Cottage is in a great location with just a v short stroll into town or the beach. Jon was very helpful with the booking and Nicole made sure that all our requirements were met before we arrived. Our car was actually too large to get into the garage but there was always parking on the nearby streets so not a problem at all. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house.

I park my BWM in the garage but do accept that as the road is narrow it does take a few turns to get a car in. What a lovely place to spend Christmas!

Stayed for a week over Christmas. Great location in a beautiful part of the UK. Lucky with the weather and did some lovely walks around the coast, which is stunning. Property had most things we could wish for - almost all the white goods were either brand new or hardly used, which made our stay really comfortable. Enjoyed the challenge of the Aga and surprised ourselves by cooking a creditable xmas lunch! Only suggestions would be some new, larger towels and a set of saucepans with matching lids, but we can see the property is constantly being improved and this did not detract from our overall enjoyment. We were able to park outside the International School all week so the tight access to the garage did not bother us. A delightful week in a very sweet little property, thanks to Jon for all the efforts made to ensure our comfort.

Brilliant location lovely seaside town!

Very well placed property -- only drawback is parking but not difficult to remedy with a bit of thought! We had a few glitches when we arrived as the kitchen had been re done and the heating had either been turned off or reset inncorrectly also no internet -- a quick call to the property manager -- who went above and beyond -- and all was sorted ! The house itself is cosy and lovely well furnished and ideal for thetown and beach. We had another glitch the following day with the dishwasher but again everything poss was done to help unfortunately without success-- This sounds like a moan but I highly recommend this cottage -- the reason I mention the problems is to highlight the fact that we had excellent service and help! -- I would definately book again as we had a lovely time!

Sorry about the dishwasher leak - this was just plumbed incorrectly during the refurb and you were the first to use it. All sorted now thank you. The internet issue was that we had just upgraded to Fibre and we didn't realise that only the new router that arrived that day would work with it - as you say this was sorted immediately for you. The thermostat was messed around by the kitchen contractors and just needed re-setting. Parking is available either in the integral garage or the side roads near to the cottage. Sorry for the little glitches we had done a lot of work on the cottage in a short amount of time and were very happy that we got 99% of it done in time for you. Hope you enjoyed the new kitchen and the new living room floor! We want all our guests to have the best possible time at the cottage - hence just spending a significant amount of money on the refurb - and as you experienced, we will try to offer the best service too. We hope to see you again and also hope that many more people will come and enjoy the newly refurbished Heydons House!

Great location

A delightful property in a peaceful location surrounded by other pretty cottages, yet so close to the shops and seafront . Parking a real bonus our medium size car had no problem parking in the garage just needed careful manoeuvring. The double bed was very comfortable and there was a very high standard of cleanliness throughout .

Sidmouth holiday

There were four of us staying in Heydons House, and we were all really pleased. The house is really lovely, and is in an excellent position not far from the beach or the town. Only problem for us was that we couldnt get our car into the garage provided.

Thank you for the lovely 5 star review. I am so pleased you had a wonderful time at the cottage. I have no problem getting my car into the garage. It's not the garage its the narrow lane so it does take 3-4 turns to get your car in. If you don't fancy that then we have the use of a parking space just 100 yards away plus there is plenty of free parking on the side roads too. Thank you again.
