Experience impressive views of the Oak Island Lighthouse, Cape Fear River, and the Atlantic Ocean, where you can watch ships and local fishermen pass by—creating the perfect backdrop for your gatherings.
Upon entering the first floor of the main house of Beacon Point Inn, which accommodates up to 10 guests, you'll find a cozy gathering area with a designated wet bar and a game/puzzle library. Bedrooms are located on the first and second floors of the main house, including four bedrooms on the first floor and a primary bedroom on the second floor. The first-floor bedrooms are comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom, including one with a king bed (tub/shower) and three with queen beds (shower). A new washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first-floor level. The primary bedroom is situated in a private setting on the second floor and offers a lovely balcony.
The thoughtfully designed reverse floor plan of the main house showcases large windows, filling the space with breathtaking views of West Beach and the Cape Fear River—truly an impressive backdrop for cherished family memories. Gather around the spacious living area or enjoy al fresco dining on the covered porch while relishing stunning sunset reflections over the water. The first bedroom features a spacious king bed, while the second bedroom boasts a two custom double bunk bed designed for adults and children alike, complete with a queen-sized bottom bunk and an extra-large twin bed on top. Both bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms. You can search for the Lightkeepers Cottage separately online for availability and booking information.
After a day at the beach, enjoy additional family activities with ample game space in the garage, including a ping pong table, 4 across game, corn hole, and other outdoor games. You’ll have access to eight owner-provided bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach shade, along with an additional full-sized refrigerator for extra beverage and food storage. A traditional gas grill and a flat-top grill are available for outdoor dining options (please note that amenities are not guaranteed and may change at any time). As a bonus, enhance your experience with the option of a temporary membership (available for separate purchase) at the prestigious Bald Head Island Club. Temporary Membership includes access to golf, dining, pool, fitness, tennis, pickleball, and croquet. Guests must have a temporary BHI Club membership to access the club. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times, which are 3:30 pm for property check-in and 9:00 am for property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 3:00 pm for arrivals and no later than 9:30 am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.
