This popular little town, surrounded by mountains, has a quaint village center with an iconic Victorian Train Station and a variety of local shops, cafes and restaurants. The town serves as the gateway to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region, including the majestic Mount Washington, the scenic Kancamagus Highway, and the tranquil Saco River. The village’s main street is lined with beautifully preserved 19th-century buildings that house a variety of local shops, cafés, restaurants and B&Bs, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Mount Washington.
