Sanibel Island Beach Home mit privatem Pool in der Dunes Golf Community!

In response to the review above: 1. The grill is located on the side of the home due to fire safety. It is literally 10 steps from the kitchen door and 2 steps from the garage side door. We feel the location of this is fine for any normal human being to walk to. 2. The garage has no mold or mildew order (as we were down the day you left). It is Florida and it is high humidity and the garage is not air conditioned. 3. We have never had an issue with dishes or pots being dirty, however we will have our management company double check those for the future. 4. We have a full pantry of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. if a renter needs something specific like food storage containers there are many stores on the island that are close by to get what you need. 5. There is now an iron and ironing board available at the house for renters to use due to the request. 6. There were only suppose to be 2 guest staying in your reservation that you confirmed. We left out 6 sets of towels and wash cloths which I think is more than enough to cover your stay here. It was confirmed by the house keeper that there were 6 sets left out and if needed there is a washer and dryer in the home that you could have used. 7. As for the TV request for every bedroom and for outside (5 TVs) this is a VACATION and we feel guest should enjoy the surroundings of the island and relax and not be glued to electronics. There is a large 42” flat screen tv in the living room centrally located for guest to enjoy. 8. We have a pest control company who treats the property every month (as again this is Florida). We arrived the day you left and found no traces of any bugs in the house, and have never had anyone claim of seeing one, along with the fact that the house keeper checks the home frequently. If you actually did see one then you should have sent a picture to us immediately as you had our contact info. This renter was disgruntled prior to his stay because they wanted to cancel last minute which was outside of the 60 day cancellation policy. The correspondence between the renter was aggressive because of his last minute change of plans and we explained that if it was within the cancellation policy it would have been no issue. While he stayed here he broke the pool cleaner into numerous pieces and then refused to take responsibility for it, even though he told the pool maintenance man that he broke it. Would we rent to him again NO!!!

Hi! Thank you for the review- February is the busiest season on the island which is why there was traffic on the main road and for parking at the beaches. However there are MANY back roads to avoid all traffic on the island, just avoid the main road of Periwinkle during high season! If you are looking for a time on the island with few people September-November or the summer months would give you that! The pool area does receive direct sunlight all year round, as we are down here now and got sunburn out by the pool the last few days, unfortunately we can’t control the sun and weather.
