The pictures are somewhat misleading, and the property could benefit from a more thorough cleaning between renters. The host responded quickly and provided excellent communication when we initially encountered issues with entry. Would stay again.

Clean and secure property in a convient area of LA. We used it during an event at the LACC and was within 10 minute drive to the convention center.4 bedrooms with 5 beds total, could sleep 8-9 people easily with shared beds. 4 of us slept very comfortably.Kitchen and dining space is nice, but we didn't utilize very much due to the event taking the majority of the time.

Host was great and kept great communication. Good location, spacious, and clean. Appreciated the gated onsite parking. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. TVs in every room was a plus. We really enjoyed our stay!

My son and I wanted a few days together in LA and picked this spot. The condo is clean, comfortable and located in a residential nighborhood not far from Downtown and Hollywood... allowing us easy access to places we wanted to go! The hosts are experienced and happy to answer questions. There is a dedicated behind-a-gate parking spot and street parking. We were very happy.

Location was great in terms of proximity to popular areas such as downtown LA, USC, and West Hollywood. The property was halfway between downtown and Hollywood. Secure parking was provided for one vehicle. If you had multiple cars, street parking could be a challenge to find. The neighborhood was quiet with quick access to grocery stores and restaurants. Make sure to bring your toiletries and bath towels/cloths. The kitchen and living room are on the second floor of a three story unit with bedrooms on the first and third floors (for those that are challenged by climbing stairs). Lastly, the host was very responsive and great to interact with.

Unfortunately, our stay from September was far below what we expected for the booking. There were multiple issues throughout our four-night stay.The apartment was not properly cleaned upon arrival. We had no hot water, and water pressure, drainage, and toilet issues continued throughout the stay. The entrance gate was extremely difficult to use and would close while we were maneuvering our vehicle through a very tight space, requiring us to repeatedly get out and reopen it. We were also not given the front gate code and had to use the back entrance.There were visible maintenance and safety concerns, including wallpaper coming off, holes in the walls, and a sliding door that did not appear properly secured. The AC was uncomfortably cold and could not be adjusted properly other than turning it off. The laundry facilities did not work at all, which was especially inconvenient since we were traveling with a baby.We were also repeatedly warned about a 300 fee for a physical key, despite never receiving one. Access was through a code that was provided late.Overall, the combination of cleanliness, maintenance, access, water, temperature control, and laundry issues significantly impacted our stay. We have photos documenting some of these conditions and would expect Vrbo to review them. Based on the overall experience, we do not feel the property provided the value or standard reasonably expected for the price.

I would love leave a better review, but unfortunately this rental did not meet our expectations. The check-in process was very disappointing. I did not receive the information that the host required for check in until less than an hour before the check-in time. They asked me to fill out a check-in form and pay upfront through a third party link for the total cost of the vrbo, despite that on vrbo, the full payment was due at the time of check out. Due to this inconsistency, I was on the phone with vrbo for an hour trying to confirm that this was a legitimate rental. After VRBO confirmed, and I followed the two check-in steps from the host, it still took almost 2 hours to get access. The host never provided the necessary information to check in. They did not indicate that the actual unit of the vrbo was different from the address that was listed until around 6pm. One of our guests was waiting outside for almost an hour, waiting for someone to apparently show up to fix the door, which never happened. The host was also difficult to get a hold of, and I spoke to many different people over the phone about this issue before it as resolved. When I asked for compensation for the inconveniences, I received only a 50 discount off of a 1250 total price. Especially given the condition of the rental, with stains on the couches and missing hardware, I would have expected better responsiveness and more compensation for the inconvenience.
