Wir mieten, von Samstag bis Samstag. Perfekt gelegen semi-Ocean Front Ferienhaus, nur 250 Meter vom Strand Aussichtsplattform und Crossover. Dieses Haus ist mit Annehmlichkeiten für Familien eingestellt. Dieses Haus ist eine einzige Ebene und es gibt keine Stufen zu erklimmen. Haus bietet Platz für insgesamt 6 Personen. Zwei im Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, zwei in einem zweiten Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und zwei in einem Doppelstockbett mit Doppelrollbett. Master-Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer mit WC und ein zusätzliches Bad liegt abseits der Haupt Flur. DirectTV ist ebenfalls vorhanden, wie Fernseher steht in den beiden Schlafzimmern, neben dem Wohnzimmer. Internet und WiFi-Service sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett mit Töpfen und Pfannen, Geschirr, Geschirr, Besteck, kleine Haushaltsgeräte, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank w / Eismaschine, und Elektroherd ausgestattet. Der Esstisch für acht Personen und der Küchentisch Platz vier weitere Personen. Ein Holzkohlegrill ist für außerhalb Kochen zur Verfügung gestellt. Zurück Veranda hat reichlich Sitzgelegenheiten und gesiebt. Es ist eine geschlossene Garage.

Check-in Zeit ist 16.00 Uhr am Samstag der Ankunft. Check-out Zeit ist 10.00 Uhr am Samstag der Abreise. Gäste müssen ihre eigene Bettwäsche und Handtücher zu versorgen. Besitzer wird eine E-Mail-Gäste eine Woche vor Anreise der Sicherheitscode für die elektronische Verriegelung des vorderen Tür. *** Gäste sind verantwortlich für alle Schäden ***. *** Besitzer ist ein NC Licensed Broker ***

Another great stay at the yellow house!

While the ocean be a cruel, cruel mistress, our fishing getaway at the brick house remains an amazing experience none the less. Everything needed to cook, clean, beach lounge, etc. Would come back again!

TVs were not user friendly. Each had different channel availability. Kitchen had too many pots,pans,etc. Difficult to find stuff. On the other hand, it was very well equipped. Appreciated the nice washer dryer and soap. Bathrooms were very nice.Great for 2 people!

Great Location

Home Away form Home

This cozy little home is all about location; it is perfectly situated in Southern Shores where you have access to all the amenities of Kitty Hawk without the traffic and development. It has the charm of Duck just a short bike ride away too.

A great week at the beach

We love this house because it's in our favorite Southern Shores neighborhood and so close to the beach. The house is contemporary without being ultra-modern so we feel at home. The kitchen is well-equipped. We love having a washer and dryer available.

The house is a ranch style, a little older I believe but extremely well maintained Property has everything needed for a good time at the shore If you have children or grandchildren less worry with No stairs! Needs some tlc.

Overall good house just a few things that need addressed for ease and safety. Driveway is pretty overgrown and hard to get in and out of the car on the one side. Both bathrooms ceilings by the exhaust fan look like they are about to fall and have mold growing there. The main bathroom's shower feels like there's no floor below it and feels like your going to fall through while using it. Overall though pretty good just some maintenance issues needing addressed.

I am always been receptive to constructive criticism, but I inspected my home today and Mr. Pegher’s comments are incorrect. There is no mold in my home, but there was some dust around the exhaust vents which is not unusual for any property. I would never allow mold to grow in my house, since cleanliness and a healthy environment are very important to me. The vents were not falling down from the ceiling as he stated. Further, I checked the shower and the floor was solid. Both bathrooms have been totally refurbished and are in good condition. The driveway is not overgrown, but merely has natural vegetation growing adjacent to it to provide privacy from the neighboring property. If Mr. Pegher was unhappy with the condition of my property, he should have contacted me immediately during his stay instead of grandstanding after-the-fact and disparaging my property. If I had known of any problems during his stay, I would have corrected them immediately and if he was that unhappy, I would have refunded his money. Giving me a disparaging review and being incorrect in his remarks is totally unfair and unacceptable. He did not mention any of the positive things about my property such as its close proximity to the beach, well equipped kitchen and furnishings, and most importantly, a very clean house.

This review was written during the off-season over Thanksgiving 2024. This property is very convenient to the beach. Just a 2- to 3-minute walk, and you're there! This helped a lot since there wasn't any major road to cross, just one less traveled road. The home needs upgrades: The "Welcome" mat at the door was worn out and tired. The bunkbed squeaked with every movement, so our son needed to sleep on the sofa. The kitchen needed a few more items to make it more usable. The electric stove was slow to heat. The furniture and decor in some of the rooms were outdated. The thermostat was set at 70 degrees. At night the HVAC couldn't keep up heating the home and when we woke up in the mornings it was cool in the house. Once the temp. outdoors warmed, so did the house. There were sand spurs in the carpet that we kept stepping on which did not feel good! Overall, the home would be ok to stay at if you're on a budget, especially if you have a young family. Communication with the owner was very good.

I was appalled this when I received your rating of 3 stars. This is the lowest rating that we have ever received. You said very little that was positive, including no comments about the nice bottle of wine I left you. You had a concern about the Welcome Mat outside the front door. Although it is completely functional, it’s faded because of the harsh Coastal conditions of intense wind, sand, sun. The bunkbed squeaked, as most do, but the lower bunk does not. The bunk bed is intended for younger guests. We prefer that guests not sleep on the sofa as your son did. You complained about the kitchen. It has a new drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig coffee maker. It also has a blender, toaster, microwave, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and ample silverware. No one has ever complained before. I have found that the stove is no slower to heat than any others. Since I knew you were preparing Thanksgiving dinner, I checked it before you arrived. The Wolf oven in our house here on the Sound is slower to heat. You indicated that the furniture and décor in some rooms were outdated. ALL of the rooms were disclosed prior to your arrival in photos on VRBO. Evidently you did not view the pictures in the listing. You said the HVAC could not keep up at 70 degrees. Why didn’t you turn it up to a higher setting? You complained about the sand spurs in the carpet You must have tracked them in. Your comment about the house being OK for younger families is derogatory and discriminating.

Cozy, well stocked house steps from the beach!

Great house in the quiet town of Southern Shores, which is centrally located to many points of interest on the OBX. There was plenty of space for our party of 4. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen, a large back yard and directly across from a path to the beach. The home was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

They have the accommodations for your needs. A functional garage, deep freezer, and yes, beds! Everything is as expected; clean living conditions, location accurately described, and easy communiciblilty. Thank you Fred... wherever you might be. You went above and beyond stocking that ocean prior to our visit! The fish mourning bell was a nice touch as well! Would stay every year... if only you were pet friendly!
