Grandmas Cozy Cottage on Lincoln Lake

Welcome to Grandmas Cozy Cottage! A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our peaceful retreat is set on a spacious 2-acre lot with private frontage on all sports Lincoln Lake as well as Clear Creek. We’re just a few houses away from the boat launch, providing short and easy routes by land and water to the cottage.

Our cottage features two separate buildings; the main house and a two-story `garage` which holds an apartment on the lower level and a game room above. With a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is plenty of room for up to 10 guests. The main house boasts two king bedrooms (one of which can be converted into two twins if needed) and a bunk room with one queen bed, and two twin beds. The apartment is where you’ll find the third king bedroom. Each bedroom is equipped with its own smart TV, while the living rooms in both the main house and apartment feature extra-large smart TVs for your entertainment.

Speaking of entertainment, there is an abundance of activities for you to enjoy during your stay. The upper portion of the garage is an unfinished space that serves as the ultimate game room, complete with arcade games, ping-pong, basketball, air hockey, foosball, and more. Even if the weather doesn`t cooperate, there`s still plenty of fun to be had indoors.

The main house is stocked with board games, and the apartment has a poker table for some friendly competition. For the outdoor fun we provide four kayaks, two stand-up paddle boards and several life jackets for you to explore the lakes and creeks at your leisure. Yes, that’s intentionally multiple lakes and creeks as Lincoln Lake is connected to Black Lake and Blue Lake (you should definitely make the trip to Blue Lake while you’re here)! Relax on our back patio, porch or yard and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Spike Ball, 4-way volleyball, Bocce Ball and cornhole are available for some great fun!

It should be noted that our cottage was built in the 1940s, as such, it has plenty of charm and “cottagey” (as we affectionately refer to them as) features, like a slightly sloped kitchen floor and well-loved countertops. We plan to update the countertops in the future but, for now, feel free to use our fully stocked kitchen, sloped floor and all, complete with some spices. We also have kids` dishes, a high chair, and a pack-n-play available for our littlest guests.
