The Space

Enjoy low-maintenance living in this cozy yet surprisingly spacious cottage — the perfect home base for your Western Maine adventures. Whether you’re here to ride the trails, ski, hike, work remotely, snowmobile, or simply relax, this comfortable space is ideal for 2–3 guests.

Spend summer evenings relaxing in the private backyard or enjoy your morning coffee in the bright, sun-filled living room overlooking Dixfield’s Sugarloaf Mountain — especially beautiful during peak fall foliage season.

Nearby dining and conveniences include Ellis’ Variety, Towle’s Corner Store (featuring Dunkin’), Mimi’s Place, and Jimmie’s (a local favorite open seasonally during the summer months). For groceries and essentials, Walmart is less than 10 minutes away in Mexico, and Hannaford is conveniently located in nearby Rumford.

Guest Access

Guests will have full access to the entire home and private backyard during their stay.

The backyard shed may also be used for additional storage if needed; however, please note that the shed is not weatherproof, and any personal items stored there are at your own risk.

Please note: the attic is not accessible to guests.
