River Valley Sunset Home is a spacious vacation rental located near Bethel/Newry on a peaceful 8.75 acres in Rumford Maine, with beautiful mountain views and breathtaking sunset views. A Skiers paradise near some of the best ski resorts, such as, Black Mt, Mt. Abram, Sunday River and Titcomb Mt. The property is adjacent to the Androscoggin River for those who love fishing.
The property is located near Newry and Bethel and surrounded by the River Valley towns of Andover, Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford form picturesque New England communities with country stores, tree-lined main streets and historic buildings. Take in the sights with a stroll out to Pennacook Falls, the highest waterfalls east of Niagara, or a ride over one of six covered bridges.

The River Valley Sunset Home is a 20-minute drive from historic downtown Bethel and 15 miles from Sunday River Ski Resort. The house is located in Rumford and only 2.5 miles from Black Mountain where you can snow tubing and ski. The house has a deck and fire-pit, plenty of space to enjoy and relax with friends and family.
While you're near everything you want to do (hiking, skiing, exploring) the property makes it feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere. The large back deck and yard faces the Androscoggin River and Glass Face Mountain that gives you the privilege of enjoying beautiful sunsets.
The main floor contains an open concept plan of living space, that includes a a large 65" Smart TV equipped with Netflix and other options (you can use your own login). WIFI is provided throughout the home. A full bath and one bedroom. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven/range, refrigerator, and microwave. It's stocked with all the basics you might need including coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, baking dishes, serving dishes, glassware of every type and dishes. A gas BBQ can be found just outside on the deck.
On the main floor there is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a large closet. This bedroom is adjacent to the main floor bathroom of the house. This floor also includes a split A/C unit that covers all living spaces.
The lower level of the house includes a large master-bedroom with a king size bed, a private sitting that includes a smart TV and a full private bathroom with a walk-in-shower. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed with large sofa chair for those who enjoy a peaceful "reading".

The back yard includes a large deck with sitting area and a fire pit at ground level for enjoying s'mores and campfire fun. In the winter you can snowshoe or cross-country ski to the bottom of the property where the river is located.
